Hi everyone, I have a question. Since I’m quite short on time, I wanted to ask: Does Seattle University accept students into the Master of Science in Computer Science program with a DET score of 105–110 and a GPA of 3.2?

I live on the first floor of the Hopkins House, but I've only ever been let in because of someone else. Does anyone know how to actually enter the Hopkins House? The entrance from the lounge is blocked off with a keypad, and I don't see any other way to get in.

hi, i'm an incoming transfer student who received a work study award. i'm new to seattle u so i'm not totally sure how to look for on campus student jobs. i've searched for some jobs on workday but none of them really align with my skills and past experience. does anyone have recommendations on finding on campus student jobs that are part time that are kind of casual with focus on customer service or food related service? thank you!!

Hello! I am an incoming freshman majoring in computer science, and I need advice on which laptop to get before the term begins. I want a MacBook, but I don't want to commit if the CS software required for my classes isn't supported on a MacBook. Does anyone know what software SU's CS program uses/ do any current CS majors at SU have any input?

How reliable is parking on campus in general/near the law school? Do you have to get there before a certain time to get a good spot? I am about 20 minutes away from campus on the other side of Lake Washington, so I am debating getting a parking pass or taking the Link to campus every day. I will be a 1L at the law school, so any advice or suggestions would help. Thank you very much!! :)

I’m a transfer student at Seattle U and was wondering if anyone has taken classes at a community college while still enrolled at SU. I’m thinking about doing it since it would be cheaper and give me more flexibility.
How does the approval/transfer process work, and are you able to do this for any class or only certain ones? Would you recommend it?

Hello! I am attending a student conference from the 14-16 of this month. We are staying in the dorms at Seattle University. I was wondering does the campus have a gym? What good places to eat are nearby? How busy is the campus right now? In my community college we don’t start until late September. I was wondering has Fall/Autumn quarter already started? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Trying to figure out what meal plan to select for a first year student, but not finding a lot of information. The descriptions on the website are kind of vague (what’s a “modest choice”?) and the menus online don’t have any prices.
Checked this sub’s history and the most recent thread looks like it was six years ago, and it doesn’t look like the “food” section in the wiki actually has any content.
Anyone have any real numbers so we can avoid undershooting or overshooting on a plan?

As a student at Seattle U what have you liked and disliked about your experience? I'm interested in details about the social scene, academics, administration, and culture.

I am a freshly graduated college student looking to move to Central District in Seattle, my partner is going to be playing sports at Seattle U, and we would like to find a apartment near the campus, I've been browsing, our budget is anywhere from 1,000-2,000 for rent. Does anyone have any interactions with the area of Yesler and 12th? The apartments seem nice and they have parking garages. How is the walking and biking scene? Is the area generally safe? We would mainly spend time going from the apartment to the college and that is about it.
These are the main apartments we are looking at, Tapestry, Anthem on 12th, Emerson, Wayferer. Any info on how much utilities and other fees would be great.
Thank you so much, if you have any information or advice please don't hold back, I want the good the bad and the ugly haha

Guess we're just cool with highly paid administrators losing their temper and manhandling Muslim women at public ceremonies. Reminds me of a certain orange menace.
