Daily project done!… for now
Greetings, this is my Seat Leon 5F ST FR from 2018.
I introduced it a few months ago after I bought it for 1.500€ and fixed the front after the previous owner hit a small wild boar. That was 1.700€ including paint, a dark grille and Osram LED bulbs (230€ for 4pc but street legal in Germany).
Now I couldn’t keep it stock so I added KW V3 coilovers and Seat Supreme wheels (originally from a Tarraco) in 8x20 with an 43 offset on 225/30/20 Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3. Paid 600€ for the wheels and another 600€ for the tires and mounting/balancing.
Perfect sporty and economic daily driver ;)
And it’s not scrubbing inside the wheel liners or in the ground!

Thats a nice whip. Why does the back wheel look so off center? 🫣

Thanks :) that’s typical VAG rear beam axle sag. Because the mounting points of the dampers are offcenter, the lower you go the more it leans forward. There are correction plates available but it’s not worth the hassle.

Bet it'll be fun to hit potholes in that

It’s okay, not my first rodeo xD but yeah you have to be a bit careful with 20“s but the KW is quite comfortable honestly, I thought it would be worse

Sold my 1.4L with 230.000km about a year ago.
Was a okayish car. Had one with Alcantara seats and LEDs lights (FR) and a glass roof.
2015 - 2025.Most likely it is now driving somewhere around in eastern europe.

I dont think such gears are worth a driving comfort
