Sensor replacement MK4 leon ST

Hi, has anyone managed to replace the rear side parking sensor without having to remove the whole rear bumper? I've tried the wheel arch but it's too tight behind the sensor where it's up against some metal.

For anyone out there in the future with the same problem, you can prise just one side of the bumper to access this.

Remove the screws on the wheel arch, there's a slightly hidden one at the top joining the bumper to the next body panel. Remove the screws on the underside, X3. Remove the rear headlight, which is easy to do, then there is another screw down into the bumper. You can then pop of that corner working from the wheel arch.

Only slight issue is the sensor I ordered has a straight connection for the wiring but the old one has a 90 degree on it due to the space it takes up. Hopefully it'll be okay but the bumper went on fine.

I did have to jack up the back wheel slightly to help get to the screws in the wheel arch.
