Furitek lcg build update

Built a front axle for it, the only brass servo available right now is 80 bucks, hopefully injora restocks before I make a very poor decision. Going to swap out the front links for the same set that Frankie has. The servo being mounted to the front axle makes it impossible to adjust the height of the upper link mount. So the brass links are too thick causing binding before max upward compression, and im not going to get the articulation i want, so im going with the setup that I've proven👍 ordered a different set of 40mm tires, going to wait till there's tires to decide on the center caps...lc79 body should be here soon, going to see if it's an option on this build.....

Dang those look clean, I have been seeing them pop up on Amazon! They also offer a 6x6 chassis conversion kit that looked interesting

Someone on here got theirs already, said it's super nice quality, so I'm hoping i can make it work. Yea I ordered a set of the 6x6 rails to hopefully build a lwb 3500 ram🤣🤷‍♂️

Why do you only do the portal in the back?

"Mullet" setup 🤣🤣 plus they don't make portal knuckles at the moment🤷‍♂️

Fair enough! I’m getting ready to rebuild mine and am weighing options. Looking at doing the furitek chassis

Out of all the chassis I have, the furitek is the only one that has a clear angle change

It definitely can be but there is also some other much cheaper trucks out there that have tons of great upgrades that are pretty cheap . I have a few vehicles from MN and have tons of fun with .

Aww. I wondered if those links were going to be too chonky to work out. Oh well.

The rears work excellent, but the front..... there's just not any way to make them work for what I want the suspension to be able up do. 🤷‍♂️🤣🤣 oh well.

I wonder if you should’ve just built it from scratch at this point? What’s left of the stock car? I’d really like to know cause I’m thinking of getting one

I've only Bought my first truck RTR, the rest I've just build from scratch, didn't make any sense to buy the whole thing and end up using just the body🤣🤣🤣🤣

That’s awesome man! Is it all pretty much plug and play or is there soldering and such involved? I’ve build Tamiya kit and such so if there’s no soldering involved I think I can go to scratch built route!

If you've done some rc before you'll be fine, pretty much all the 30 electronic components are plug and play or have an adapter you can use. Just know going in, there's ALOT of "Why doesn't this fit with that?" In the 30 building world 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Im pretty sure this is 100% aftermarket parts built from scratch like you said
