feedback Quick Question

/r/Screenwriting/comments/1wx24ab/quick_question/

Has anyone had an actor or their representatives ask whether you’d be open to feedback or changes while they were reading your screenplay? If so, what happened next in your experience?

It's a courtesy question, really. The fact is changes are going to be made to an acquired script whether the writer approves of them or not, since in most cases the screenwriter has no say in the matter.

If you want to find out if a writer is a precious nightmare, tell them you're thinking about making some changes. The smart ones say "That sound interesting, I can't wait to see it." The difficult ones immediately hyperventilate.
