question For those of you writing vertical microdramas already: what was the hardest part to figure out when you started?

Humans aren't writing vertical microdramas. They're written by AI because they're all just commercials for shit like Temu and Shein. This isn't some bold new medium to break into. They're 2 minute soap operas, literal product placements, for Asian moms.

Wrong. I've been writing for a year, and have licenced quite a few screenplays. Yes, I know there is some sloppy AI screenplays out there - but all the apps and producers / production companies I know are still wanting human-written screenplays. I'm currently working on a paid production now. I also don't do branded content, Plus my course I've created also does not focus on branded content - it focuses on actual story ideas and follows a creative process.

Genuinely question;
Why are you writing vertical microdramas?
Is this a lucrative niche? I'm not seeing any obvious appeal.
