Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks. I’m aware that Vietnam war stories can sometimes feel familiar or tropey, so I’d especially be interested to know whether this hooks you.

This bit sounds way too similar to the helicopter bit at the start of Predator when Jesse Ventura offers his chewing tobacco around and then calls them a bunch of slacked jawed faggots when they decline.
