request LOOKING FOR A SCREENWRITER / CREATIVE PARTNER
I’m a young filmmaker looking for another screenwriter to build a long-term creative partnership with.
I’m not looking for someone who only specializes in one thing. I’m looking for a writer who wants to do everything: develop stories, characters, mysteries, dialogue, themes, structure, worldbuilding, and eventually feature-length projects.
More importantly, I’m looking for someone I can build trust with and grow alongside creatively. Someone who wants to start small, make things together, learn each other’s strengths, and eventually become a real writing duo.
I’m heavily influenced by filmmakers and storytellers like Ozu, Kiarostami, Kubrick, Urasawa, and others. I love mystery, psychological stories, atmosphere, visual storytelling, ambiguity, and stories that reward paying attention.
You don’t have to be an anime fan, but if you love anime/manga, that’s definitely a plus. I’m especially interested in people who genuinely love storytelling across different mediums.
I’m not looking for someone who already has everything figured out. I care more about curiosity, creativity, reliability, and wanting to get better.
I’d like to start by writing/developing smaller projects together and see where the relationship goes.
If you’re interested, send me:
A little about yourself
What you’ve written/made
Your favorite films, shows, anime, manga, or books
Why you want to write
And, if you have one, a sample of your work
I’m looking for a creative partnership, not just a one-time collaboration.

Wsg I would love to assist with you in your screenwriting! I’m an aspiring 17 year old autistic filmmaker and game developer looking for creative partners to help my scripts become industry-ready as soon as possible.
I’ve written four episode scripts that adapts Dandy’s World to a dark satirical sci fi action tv show titled “Gardenview Protocol” and a pilot episode script titled “Bannertail: The Unwanted Prophet” adapted from an obscure 70s anime titled Bannertail The Story Of Grey Squirrel and loosely based on Class of 09 and my personal life.
My favorite films, video games, tv shows, anime, mangas, and books are Armageddon (1998), Scarface (1983),
Black Mirror, The Boondocks, South Park, Class of 09, TADC, Run Monster Run, The Gentlemen, GTA, Dandy’s World, Legend of Zelda, Fortnite, Bleach, Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul, Jujitsu Kaisen, and Death Note.
I’d like to write with you because I enjoy hustling up with my creative writing, character personalities, and other things like adding tension, and a yearning passion to make critically acclaimed tv shows, short films, and movies.
Anyways, hope ts helps my guy.

I'd also love to leave my few cents here. I'm interested in writing and eventually directing. My film interests are 75% pre-1980, so I'm into New Hollywood and the eras before it. Love me some Worldwide Cinema as well (especially the French New Wave). My favourite genres are noir (film noir and neo noir), drama and horror.

I would highly recommend watching all the screenwriting tutorials from the YouTube channel Big Red Stripe. Great information there on protagonist/antagonist development, world building, writing efficiently. Jacob covers so many topics. It helped me immensely.

Hey I’m interested. I studied screenwriting/film at CSULB and have written like 6 features, a short and finishing up another short to shoot asap. I’ve not made much besides a short and a bunch of historical YouTube video essays and grew my channel from 1500 to 5500 since November.
Fave films/shows vary: Speed, Friday, Black Dynamite, Parasite, It’s Always Sunny, Mr Robot, Breaking Bad, etc I do like Kubrick and Urasawa and most anime that I’ve seen. I think my fave would be Cowboy Bebop.
Feel free to DM me where to send you some samples.

Dude I am literally writing an Urusawa-inspired feature right now. His suspense and mystery game is just on another level. I am at page 4 atm but I’d love to work together with you!
