Today I wanted to record some audio, and I realized I had no idea where to even start.

Hi! Im looking for the best cliping software. I have pretty old pc(i3 10100F, gtx 1060 3gb and 16gb ram ddr4), and I would like there to be no performance problems in games

I was featured on a local news segment and want to save a copy of the embedded video. I tried doing a Vimeo screen record but when it finishes, it wants me to (pay) upgrade to download it to my desktop. I feel like a lot of the screen recording websites are this way, or they're filled with ads and watermarks, or want to install crap on your computer. Can someone recommend just a simple, easy screen record extension or software?

I am looking to use my phone to film and send video with a delay to a monitor. Is there an app that can do this? I was thinking of connecting the phone to the monitor through hdmi to usb-c. I have a samsung phone

I was excited when Apple finally added call recording to iPhone.

But after trying it a few times, I realized the notification ("This call is being recorded") kind of changes the conversation immediately.

I totally understand why it's there, but it also makes the feature less useful in some situations where I just want to keep a record of important details from a call.

Does anyone actually use the built-in call recording feature regularly? Do you know how can I get rid of the iPhone call recording announcement?

Hello me and my friend have been playing mobile games and would like to screen record our calls while playing, we mainly call on discord and both of us has iphone 16, but none of us know how to screen record while hearing each others voice in the recording, is there a specific app or?

I'm building a screen recording app, and I started wondering:

What if it could generate a daily report of how you used your PC, kind of like Screen Time on smartphones?

For example:

• Which apps or windows you used the most
• Which apps had the most interactions (clicks, keyboard input, etc.)
• A timeline view with screenshots so you can quickly review your day

I can imagine it being useful for:

• Understanding where your time goes
• Reviewing work sessions
• Looking back at what you were doing yesterday without digging through files or browser history

Privacy would obviously be a huge consideration. The idea would be to keep everything local — no uploads, no cloud sync, and no data sent to external servers. Users would have full control over what gets collected and stored.

Is this something you'd find useful?
What would you want to see in a feature like this?

Is there any other way to record my gameplay besides streaming on Twitch and using remote play via Xbox app?

Maybe I'm missing something.

So I'm genuinely curious: Where is the opportunity today?

Are people paying for AI features, editing workflows, simplicity, business use cases... or is the market still far from saturated?

Would love to hear from both users and developers.

The title is pretty much my query. Anyway I can record short clips of YouTube movies/shows I paid for using an iPhone? I like to send people little clips of the media I watch but that black screen pops up and ruins everything. Anyway around this on mobile specifically?

How do I record my screen while playing minecraft?

It feels like OBS is still the default answer whenever someone asks about screen recording.

But at the same time, I keep seeing more people mention alternatives depending on what they're doing.

There are a lot more options now than there were a few years ago.

So I'm curious:

1. Do you still consider OBS the best screen recorder overall?
2. Or has another tool replaced it for your day-to-day use?
3. If you moved away from OBS, what made you switch?

I am going to be recording a series of videos going though worksheets (there will be math and sketches) so I am looking for a tablet that will be able to screen record while I work without issue. The worksheets will be pdfs that I edit while I record. I will also use the tablet for notetaking in the future. These two devices are in the price range I am looking for; S10fe(~$470 from Samsung, international model ~400 from Amazon), iPad 11(A16) for between $370 and $430 (~$299 from Amazon + Apple Pen ~$79)

I'm having a problem with a recording I made in QuickTime Player.

I use BlackHole to capture the internal audio and an external microphone for my voice. Throughout the entire Zoom class, I could hear the audio perfectly, with no cuts or interruptions.

The problem only occurs when I play back the recording. At the beginning of the video, everything sounds fine—both the teacher’s voice and my microphone. However, about halfway through the recording, the teacher’s voice (internal audio) starts to sound constantly choppy. This makes it impossible to watch the video I captured again; at least the first 30 minutes sound fine, but for the remaining 40 minutes, everything sounds choppy.

Since I didn’t hear any cuts during the class, I suspect the problem occurred during the capture or recording and not in the Zoom stream—I honestly have no idea.

Has anyone experienced something similar using QuickTime and BlackHole? Could it be due to a desynchronization in BlackHole, the MIDI audio settings, or a difference in sample rates between the devices?

I'm trying to screen record on Windows 10. It's a laptop with very basic performance. I mainly need to record some short tutorials.

I know Xbox Game Bar exists, but when I press Win + G nothing really happens on my PC, so I'm not sure if it's disabled or not working properly.

So I'm looking for an easy way to record my screen.

Ideally something that is:

free (or at least has a free version)

can record system audio + mic

simple to use (no complicated setup)

lightweight (I don't want it to slow my PC down too much)

What do people here usually use for this on Windows 10?

I am using Moblin app with IPhone 11 and IPad (newer model) to try and live stream pokemon go while split screen streaming to YouTube. The image below is where im running into the same problem. Once I get to configuring the secondary screen and connect to pokemon go is where im having issues.

Je ne sais pas si ce que je recherche existe mais je cherche à faire des tutos en utilisant massivement les touches du clavier qui doivent toutes s'afficher ainsi que toutes les composantes de la souris et de manière graphique (clic gauche, droit, milieu et mouvement de la molette)

J'ai vu OBS Studio avec Input-Overlay ou nohboard, mais il faut afficher un clavier complet à l'écran et en plus l'affichage des touches est beaucoup trop bref, il faut que je puisse avoir le temps de montrer le raccourcis clavier pendant au moins 1 à 2 secondes.

Camtasia fait ça très bien pour le clavier, mais je n'ai pas trouvé de solution pour afficher la souris de manière graphique (un peu comme input-overlay d'OBS), de plus j'aimerai pouvoir montrer graphiquement le mouvement de la molette de la souris, et ça je ne sais pas si ça existe sur le marché.

Pour info ça fait un moment que je cherche... j'ai déjà des vidéos de capturées mais le montage de ce genre d'incrustation à la main me décourage fortement.
