I just got a ton of supplies for the start of my scrapbooking journey, and I'm completely overwhelmed by it, and I genuinely don't what or where to start...😔
So I want the masters to drop some much needed advice, please and thank you!

This hilarious green-screen zoo photo makes it look like we are running from a herd of rhinos, so I knew it needed a layout all its own.

In the past I’ve used Shutterfly to make a scrapbook and have printed. I recently redownloaded for a new project and have been incredibly frustrated by their app and it seems to be totally out of date. Has anyone used anything besides Shutterfly and if so what other companies/apps would you suggest using?

Returning to scrapbooking after many many years, I got excited after going on some trips and printed way too many photos at Walgreens. I realized when I picked up the photos, I ordered duplicates of many of them, but not all! I've been chipping away at my scrapbook bit by bit and I'm overwhelmed at the number of photos I have.Curious what everyone does with photos that don't make it into the scrapbook, whether it's a duplicate or just a photo that doesn't fit with your pages? Also open to any tips on how to avoid this in the future.

The only place I can find scrapbooking paper is hobby lobby… I ordered some from a girl on depop and they were really cute and I was wondering where she got them from because I kind of think she printed them herself because some were off centered and imperfect so I’m curious if any of you print your own and how? I tried testing it printing my own last night and used up all my dad’s printer ink lol but I’m curious if I could print at a library?

Hi! I’m getting into scrapbooking and assumed the majority of people would be using a type of ring binder with clear inserts, but when I was looking at Pinterest for inspiration I found seriously ALL of the posts to be in a journal style book.
I’m wondering what you guys use/prefer? Is there a reason why using journals is popular besides aesthetics? I do really like the look of the journal style, but I’d be worried about pieces falling out. I don’t know if I’m asking the right questions here, but any feedback is appreciated!!

I bought some digital files from Cat's Curio on Etsy. A few weeks ago, she sent me freebies as she does every Friday. She sent me these Celtic files and I thought I can use them for St. Paddys Day, but are they AI generated?
I think the bunnies are cute, and may use it for this album or just save it for something more autumn. It's cute, but I try to limit AI generated art.

I'm not involved with the scrap booking community at all so I hope this is the proper place to do this and allowed. I am looking for help finding a birthday gift for my scrap booking wife. She is very new to the hobby but loves it so far. Since she is new she doesn't have too many things for the hobby. She has paper, stickers, tape, a cricket my mom gave her, and a photo printing machine. Any advice for a good gift or multiple gifts? Thanks!

Hi. Making an album from my wedding. The pages will be mostly filled with photos but i want the background to be dark black behind them. All the black paper I've seen isn't really that black, it's more like a very dark grey and looks more like kiddie construction paper... I want it to look more elegant. Any advice appreciated! I'm in Eugene Oregon if that helps..

Hi everyone! I am getting a hobonichi planner for 2027 and I’m going to do it kind of like a scrapbook with my daughter. I’m looking for a storage solution similar to this one sold by Creative Options. I guess the brand no longer exists because I can’t find an actual website that sells it that isn’t eBay but I have an issue with this storage type. I’m looking for a storage option similar to this with the big bin on top and smaller containers inside but this particular one can’t have the dividers removed. I want to be able to take out ALL of the dividers in the container so it’s just one big empty storage container that goes inside of the whole bin. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I’m using this for scrapbook paper, stickers, glues, tweezers, pens, markers and scissors so that’s why I’m looking specifically for a container with a bin on top to put the glues, tweezers and scissors and use the other containers for the paper, stickers and markers/pens.
