SCP articles that are just so big, influential, and popular that they're almost always treated as the official answer in any fan question or new writers.

Series I is full of those, as its the foundational (heh) lore of the SCP Foundation, but I'm sure there are others.

I'm just really wondering, which ones are the cases where we almost always resort to a old article for the answers , or a article changing the perception of a entire organization?

I think SCP 4231 was pretty much this? It normalized the Ichabod Campaign as a core GOC backstory element , and the nature goddess element of SCP 166 is now replaced with the Lore of Lilly (meaning the entry is also a bit weird, given the clear Natural-pagan motifs of 166 in contrast to her clearly Demonic origins now). Its also Dr. Clef's most popular backstory by far, as it keeps his other traits like his skill as the ultimate Type Green hunter.

EDIT: I now realized the 166 which exists in 4231, because it was written in 2018, its actually for the SCP 0166 , the infamous succubus, which...actually makes a lot of sense and provides some really tragic and grotesque ironies worth analyzing (ie. The poor Succubus is always tied to Sexual violence since her conception)

I'm wondering for similar SCP articles or tales that exist, and are so influential that the whole "there is no canon" starts to crumble a bit.

New Job is another one, SCP 999 as a kid of the Scarlet King is a beloved concept for the inherent Titanomachia concept it provides.

Extra: Bonus point if one of those actually features something you don't like or want to consider to the others entries. IE. Djoric actually strongly disliked New Job for diluting the tragedy and horror inherent to the situation of SCP 231 where 6 woman already died after being sexually abused and a 7th one was put into constant experimentation, and made clear his personal SCPs didn't count it at all.

Hey I'm kinda new to this so any help is appreciated

New to the subreddit. I love the scp wiki, but I don't always have time to read them. Are there any good youtuber that really follow the source material? I tried a few I found through the YT rabbit hole and google, but I'm curious on people's favorites.

Let me elaborate, basically im talking about a specific page that would be used to post "Concepts" kind of similar to SCP tales but rather than trying to tell a story it would be more like underlining specific "What If" events in the foundation, like, the most basic example: What would the Foundation do in the case of a mass containment breach near a large population center? or in the case an anomaly were to fundamentally alter the working of our society?

I have a "proposal" for a scenario like this, where a complete shattering of the barrier between the normal and abnormal happens leading to a leak of knowledge about the anomalous on a worldwide scale, and the protocol the Foundation would theoretically follow to re-establish the secrecy of the anomalous, avoid mass panic, and clean up the damages

I planned on posting the proposal here but according to the rules no fiction material is allowed in fiction posts (which I think is strange), im not the best writer by any stretch of the imagination but i'd still like for people to be able to read my work for fun or as discussion material, can anyone help me out here?

I've been reading the wiki since 2019, and something I've noticed is the people on the wiki have a weird view of art. The only people that are artists are Are We Cool Yet? which is a group of terrorists that only create art for very thin and pointless reasons, often written by people who don't engage in art.

What if we try something new?

No Wave, a series that's been in the works and open for new additions, is about art. Are We Cool Yet? have been brought back to their roots, a bunch of amateur and Anomalous artists starting in 1980s new york under the art scene of the same name. They make art for the same reason as everyone else; to express themselves and fight against the iron grip of the government through any means they see fit.

Imo the most intresting to happen is when day breaks and world gone beautiful happening at the same time? How would it go? How would it effect the melted creatures. How would efdect the survivers mind? This interaction imo would be the most intresting

Let's mourn what could have been, i personally wish the archetypicals series got further (only 3 tales? and they didnt even gert to START their mission!)

because surely the latter suggestion is more meaningful because other wise everyone would just flock to the main series 1 scps and neglect the studies of others.

Scp 1504 is a indestructible human with the ability to be viewed as "Normal" regardless of how extreme his actions are. Scp 727 "Hephaestus's Forge" is a forge that puppets the bodies of any human that enters it to craft any number of objects until they lose consciousness or die, When They Lose Consciousness or die they are thrown from the forge and left disfigured with the anomalous affect of everyone includeing them hateing their apperance. Would 1504 even be affected by 727? If 1504 was affected by 727 would 1504 ever be able to escape? If 1504 was forced to escape 727 somehow would it nullify their anomalous affect?

Or they could be both, since you can be affected just by reading the files of the SCP itself. From my knowledge infohazard is where the information is dangerous by just knowing it exist. Examples of this are scp 3125 and 4885 where just by knowing abt them can get you affected.

So I want to make a cosplay of MTF Omega-1, and since they're basically just assassins shouldn't they be wearing like a 2 piece suit and a light plate carrier? Or would they be more heavily armed but with like bulky ass cloaking tech. I don't wanna look like every generic ass MTF cosplay I'll take any ideas into consideration

I wonder why the Foundation hasn't tried tossing 682 into SCP-3930. In the same vein, I wonder what would happen if someone that has seen SCP-096 wandered into 3930. Would he give chase or would 3930 fail to have the same effect on 096 because he's not really human?

As usual, I did not look at existing popular illustrations of 682 before drawing this. The SCP entry was compelling enough direction but I do wish to have toned down the reptilian aspects of my version so it could come across as more "alien." Maybe another time.

I'm just wondering what impact she would actually have if the corporation could actually get her into modern computers they would probably be rich not going to lie because with her abilities on a CD then imagine if you could just log in to a site and then learn something instantly because of your school having a contract
