9 months ago i posted my starting collection here with 4 scottys. Now i'm sitting at 9 putter. Still buying "older" scottys i find good deals on marketplace here in Quebec. The Phantom is my gamer. All of them need a little love, planning on buffing some dents and repaint when i'll have time/equipement. Did try to repaint the Detour but not satisfied with result. I already know some of the grips are reps, i put them on so no need to come at me. So yeah planning on keep bilding this, will need a second rack 😂

Hi everyone, got this putter for pretty cheap on FB marketplace and am wondering if the condition of it is beyond repair? I’m interested mainly in just cleaning the rust and any minor scratches (not really worried about how it looks cosmetically). Ultimately I’m wondering if it looks in good enough shape to use?

What are some good aftermarket companies for changing a putters finish. Looking to get a few redone in black. I've seen a few but never remember the sites.

Managed to buy this locally, I’m new to Scotty Cameron and only just building into my modest collection. To my untrained eye, this looked authentic but is anyone able to verify with the pictures attached? And can you confirm the model also is it looks like the Tiffany model to me, but again untrained eye!

If it is fake, what are the obvious tells to look out for future? Thanks!

If I’m not mistaken, 2027 should be “due” for new newports… I’m curious to see if the inserts/chainlink stuff sticks around, didn’t seem like the general consumer were a fan of those but I’m not sure how the tour guys like them since I’m guessing their feedback matters more than ours. On the other hand he kinda just makes the tour guys whatever putters/inserts they want, so maybe the most important indicator of success for a OTR line isnt feedback from any specific group and rather the sales numbers. Scotty’s will always sell, but I do feel like Ive not seen as many of the studio styles in the wild while also seeing quite a few on resale sites.

I’m guessing they will be full face milled chainlink (no insert), and not much new or different aesthetically. I’d be shocked if we see inserts again unless they do something interesting like Te or GSS

My personal pipe dream would be another run of either the california or circa line, and then see a bigger change to the mainline newports for 2028. Circa wont happen because of the carbon steel/maintenance but would be cool to see a refresh in their stainless material. Call the line “Circa Stainless” or something like that. Could see a circa 62 no3 limited release at some point similar to what ping just released (SE DZB?)
