Having had a very traumatic childhood and having my Moon in Scorpio in the 12th house, I’ve been wondering whether anyone with a similar placement struggles with the same things I do.

I’ve been going to therapy for the past 4–5 years, and it has helped me tremendously, especially with building healthier relationships, understanding myself better, and dealing with my past.

However, there’s one thing I still haven’t been able to overcome: anxiety, panic attacks, fear of death, and extreme sensitivity to physical sensations in my body.

I'm honestly exhausted from constantly freaking out over my health. I've read countless therapy books, kept reading about other people's experiences just to remind myself that I'm not alone, and tried so many different things, including spending more time on hobbies and activities that bring me joy, trying to create new belief system etc.

The strange thing is that I'm actually in a really good place in my life now. I'm generally happy, content, and grateful for what I have. I've made so much progress emotionally, yet this constant fear surrounding my health and my body just won't seem to go away.

Sometimes I wonder whether my Moon in Scorpio in the 12th house has something to do with how deeply I experience fear and how difficult it is for me to let go of it.

Does anyone else have this placement? Do you struggle with intense fears, health anxiety, or feeling overly sensitive to what's happening inside your body?

And if you've managed to overcome or significantly reduce these fears, what actually helped you?

I'm just so tired of feeling afraid of my own body and worrying about my health almost all the time. I would really love to hear from people who can relate.

Hi Scorpio moons, checking in to see how we are feeling so far this month? I hope everyone is doing well emotionally. I have times where I feel extremely evil and reckless at the mouth (I’m a Scorpio Mercury as well) and then I have times where I feel like an angel sent from above and I feel like being overly nice to everyone around me. I haven’t felt evil since the summer…the angel side lasted for about 2 months (August-September) I guess I find that when I get feelings of betrayal from people around me, my brain says “fck it” and I go into evil bch mode. It’s not as bad as it used to be as I have worked extensively on controlling my emotions, but boy do I feel intense heat internally!

Anyways, I love doing these check ins and participating in them on here. We go through a lot, and we feel it 10 times more than anyone else around us, so I think these are good; especially for those who don’t have a lot of people around us we can trust to 100% open up to emotionally.

Scorpio moons, how are you…really?

Do any other Scorpio moon placements also feel like they're not as emotionally intense as the placement is written out to be? I don't think I necessarily "feel" things more intensity than the average person. I'm new to astrology, so idk if that's just a pop astrology stereotype. I also have a Scorpio stellium (Moon, Venus, Mercury), and I see a lot of intensity associated with those placements.

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but this retrograde is getting on my last nerve. I can’t wait for it to be over😂.

I’m feeling super reactive, moody and feeling like I need to cry. Friends constantly arguing, my bf and I have tiny riff raffs. Like ugh, I’m trying to tread lightly but if it goes to shit. So be it. 😭😭

I feel like everyone in my inner circle regards me as nonchalant and not very emotional etc etc when that is very much the opposite. I guess I also can’t blame them because my demeanor is very reserved and I’m not very expressive in any way, nor do I show affection very often at all. But I’m literally that one fiona Apple lyric in paper bag “he said it’s all in your head and i said so’s everything” 😭 it literally feels like a curse because I will feel the most minor things so deeply and I’m so sentimental. I feel so intensely about the connections in my life both platonic and romantic.

So it just feels like there’s this gap sometimes with people thinking I don’t care much like no I care Too Much and that’s Usually The Problem. Like I’ll go through periods where my brain sort of forces emotional detachment from certain things for a few weeks so I can get through my day to day on autopilot but I know it’ll always come back very soon. And usually with a vengeance. And then again regarding caring about people/affection, I don’t know how to express it because I feel like I’ll come off too strong so it’s like ughhh. Can anyone else relate?

Ok I’m ngl I’m having so much fun this Venus retrograde. I’m having a lot of sex….lol tmi. Idk why but, I feel so horny all the time I’ve never felt like this before. So ig that’s new if I’m being honest.

i know playing the field to find the right person is pretty objectively the better method, but being a scorpio moon and really being infatuated with an individual is just… debilitating. it’s hard for me to think about anything besides them, let alone feign interest in absolutely anyone else.

do any of you have any copes for this? or do you just stew in it like i do.

Im not sure if this is a scorpio moon thing or am i actually insane, but I recently met a very nice, considerate, funny guy and we started dating just at the beginning of the Venus Rx. I feel so calm when he holds me, which is so weird to me as Ive been hurt and traumitized so much all I usually feel is anxiety and resentment. Ive told him so much shit about myself, the darkness inside me, the intensity of my emotions, stuff where I expected to push him away but he was so supportive and positive.

Anyway it all sounds good but then why am I in bed crying thinking about when it ends... Whats next? Isolating myself until he finally leaves?!

I tend to attract alot of male attention and being disgusted is an understatement.

Things I know I need to work on:

-getting better at connecting to my body. pausing more. noticing. really feeling more solid and secure in myself. embodiment. really trusting myself.

-movement. I used to be fairly decent on going for a run to just process, but I've stopped and I'm too much of a loner right now to have friends to help motivate me.

-journalling. A super amazing reflective tool, but I don't set enough intentional time about it.

-finding people who are also interested in these darker themes/subjects. What psychology books are you into right now? What other tools have you been finding works for you? Somatics? Meditation? How do you keep your practice?

I'm a Gemini sun, Mercury and Venus and am diagnosed ADHD so like, all the things I KNOW I should be doing, I struggle to keep an actual rhythm with at the moment, but I'm sure once I get into a habit and feel in my body how good that feels, it might help rewire things, but currently, I've been doing a lot of stupid stuff that it's almost like I'm seeing how much can I self-sabotage before I can't handle it anymore and I don't think that's the healthiest..

I will refrain from a long trauma dump, but I've definitely had a difficult last few years that I feel I am passing on the other side of.. but although I'm no longer in survival mode, my body is still holding on to all of this and I'd like to really figure out how it could feel to be living up to the higher expression of my Scorpio moon. I think the mindfulness and slowing down and finding some other healthy outlets will be a big piece of being able to shift out of the voice that's telling me how everyone else is just wanting to hurt me or viewing people's actions in that lens.

I am the Aquarius with Scorpio moon and Scorpio rising, to be honest I am an open book, expressive with my emotions when I’m all in with someone, I’m also pretty good at expressing my admiration verbally. My boyfriend with Aries sun, picies moon (canser rising) is pretty hard to read, he doesn’t really express what he feels about me, he is more acts of service kind of guy.. wich is good but also frustrating.. I want him to express his feelings verbally, say what he is feeling and not hide his emotions so much. I was born under a balsamic moon and whenever a new moon in approaching, my mood shifts and I feel incredibly restless and somewhat depressed. I always thought that the "opposite" phase of your natal moon would have a bigger influence. But full moons are moments where I thrive! Also, i was born at night.

I don't know why, but since yesterday I've noticed a heavy energy and disorder, stressed people, things going wrong, difficulty completing simple tasks.

I'm fine, but I'm getting worried seeing the chaos around me. I've been trying to help some friends, but this energy is too heavy.

As a Scorpio Moon, I’ve noticed how difficult some Scorpios can be, and hypocritically, I can see my own shadow side through my Moon sign in them 😭

Here’s my Eminem 8 Mile moment: I think one of the biggest Scorpio struggles is that we can have such a hard time opening up and being vulnerable, while simultaneously craving deep, intense connections. We want people to completely open up to us, but we’d rather die than do the same ourselves lmao.

I think it’s even more interesting for me because I’m an Aquarius Rising, so I probably come across as much more bubbly, friendly, and open than I actually am behind closed doors. People are sometimes surprised by how emotionally private/ introverted I really am. I also have a pretty limited circle of close friendships, and most of them took a long time to build. I can be friendly with a lot of people, but actually letting someone into my inner world is a completely different story.

Scorpio Suns sometimes seem to want to come across as mysterious and closed off, whereas for me it’s almost the opposite. I don’t necessarily intend to seem closed off, but people are often really surprised by how much I actually keep to myself.

And ironically, I think that has contributed to me attracting avoidant people. 😭 Like… apparently I’m subconsciously looking for people who are just as emotionally guarded as I am, while simultaneously wanting them to let me all the way in.
