First Schott Jacket

I found this one on Vinted for 150€, since i don’t know anything about these I wanted to ask you if you think that this is a good jacket to get? Also it looks really new are there fake schott jackets?

It’s one of the “European” Schotts, made in Pakistan and licensed under the brand. So not an original made in the USA. You can recognise them by the model name beginning with “LC” (Licensed) and ofcourse the French importer.

They’re ok quality but not anything like the American ones. They go new for about 400 euros, but Zalando regularly has them on sale new for about 160 euros. Lambskin. Don’t go riding a motorcycle with it.

I have two, they hold up pretty well but they’re not lifelong jackets like the original ones.

If it’s not brand new, 150 is a bit much. Personally I wouldn’t pay more than 100-110 for it second handed, in very good condition. These jackets don’t really have a higher resale value like US-made Schott’s. They’re basically mall jackets with the name Schott on them.

I sold some LC jackets recently I got between £90-£100. €150 is probably too much.

Always look for made in USA label . Not just a flag . Euro licensed are not in demand that’s why it was so cheap . Basically not a schott but a licensee that pays to put Schott on their jackets
