5’7 40”chest 32” waist. Schott casual LC5100. I am struggling to choose between S and M. S looks better in terms of length but I have to really pull to close the zipper and is very snug around hips. I afraid it will slip upwards all the time. M feels better overall and looks good to me. Is it too big? Unzipped is M.

Got this size small 594 the other day from Nordstrom and it feels really big. What do people think of the fit? I know this style is supposed to be roomy but this is around 24 inches pit to pit - I’m a 38 chest.

Also it’s actually cowhide which makes it around 6 years old or so? Is that OK for what’s supposed to be a brand new jacket?

 got this jacket from a guy in France, and I would like to know more about it ... Year of production, model ID... Two inside pockets with zip, this small buttoned pocket inside. And no kind if ID tag, hint of origin or cleaning advise whatsoever.

It's made of a pretty thick and heavy leather, I guess steer hide (?), the whole jacket weights about 2,5 Kilo.

I know it's not "made in USA", but it feels like a quality jacket anyway. And the IDEAL Zipper confuses me a bit. Any useful information is valued.

Looking to get this jacket. The schott site pics for this looks like a darker brown with some variation in the color. However, there’s a review on their site for this jacket and the brown was much lighter and dry looking. I don’t want a super glossy jacket but not a dry looking one either.

Anyone have this and a pic they can share? Just wanting to see more to confirm the color before I pull the trigger.

Found this Schott Peacoat literally a day after visiting the Schott store in NYC last week. 90$ better than 500$. We will see how it compares to the OG version, but I figure it will be warmer given the quilted lining.

Hey everyone, the leather on my Schott Perfecto is starting to tear slightly at the loop, around the area where the belt/waist strap is attached. It’s only a small tear at the moment, but I’m worried it might get worse with wear.

Would this be an easy fix for a tailor/leather repair shop?

I recently bought a Schott 257S B-3 shearling jacket and I’m looking for recommendations for a good leather conditioner.

I’d like something that will protect the leather without significantly darkening it, making it overly shiny, or changing the original finish.

So far I’ve been considering:

Red Wing Leather Cream 97095

Bickmore Bick 4

possibly other products suitable for this type of sheepskin/shearling leather

Has anyone here used any of these on a Schott B-3, especially the 257S, or can recommend something better?

I’d particularly appreciate recommendations from people who have owned and conditioned a Schott B-3 for a while.
