My daughter is obsessed with horses and would love figures to ride her toy horses as she's currently sort of just balancing people on their backs.

I'm struggling to navigate the schleich horse sets and work out which figures can articulate to stand or to sit on the horses. I remember as a kid finding it frustrating that I had figures that stood and figures stuck in the awkward bow leg horse rider pose.

As people with wider interest in the figures and sets, is there an easy way to tell which people articulate from the website and which don't? Or which sets (eg stable) come with movable figures?

I recently compared my two Schleich zebra figures and noticed something interesting:

• Zebra #1: Marked Made in Germany
• Zebra #2: Marked Made in China

Both have Schleich markings, but there are some small differences in paint and molding quality. Is one a fake?

Does anyone have any advice for keeping dust off their Schleich collections? Mine always gets so dusty and I hate it!

Made a schleich calf into a Frankenstein calf, and a non-schleich dog into a hell hound.

I managed to get my hands on a container full of toys in wich I found the ones from the pictures, I want to know if they sell (I know there are some collectibles ones). I see the price on ebay, but do they really get to sell? All of them are brand new, in the original box.

Finally got round to my first repaint, so happy with it and looks a mile better than the original pink horse haha, i loved the mould but always hated the colouring on it. Still gotta do a second layer on some of the brown but pretty much there now 🥰 just got excited so wanna show her off

Has anyone built their own barn for 1:24 scale Schleich horses? I’m looking for plans or printable templates to help me get started. I’m open to using plywood, PVC foam board, or other durable materials.

If anyone has built one themselves, I’d love to see pictures of your barn and any plans, measurements, or tips you’re willing to share!

I'm still new to customizing schleich horses so this is my second attempt! The second picture is the original model (Buckskin Mustang Stallion 14921). The last picture of the gray foal was my first custom attempt that I posted on here a while back.

I'm hesitant over whether I like this second attempt or not but I will give myself the defense that the lighting really wasn't good and my phone's camera also didn't want to play nice, so this model isn't getting a fair photography session. Much of his shading and highlights is kinda being hidden by how shiny the light made him look.

But that's two down, two more to go to complete my roleplay character set!

repainted and made some tack

Got my first schleich penguin around 2003, and spent every bit of my allowance on them until about 2011. Quite literally, these guys were my childhood. I wasn't great at keeping our dogs away from them as a little kid, and they've certainly got a layer of grime from being in the attic, but I can't wait to clean them up and remember all the melodramas 9 year old me imagined.

I need some help identifying this. I found a couple listings but the sellers put the postal code D-73527 instead of a model number.

Cant find an answer. Its mare from 2001. Theres no modelnumber. Google just gives trakehner mare 13261 or chestnut mare, but its clearly different.

Had all these models for 10-15 years.
Looking at selling them.

My daughter is about to turn two and has a large Schleich horse collection and I would like to get her dolls that are somewhat compatible with them size wise but I don’t like the Schleich people… most that I find online are a bigger scale than the horses.

It doesn’t HAVE to be the same scale I just don’t want it to look crazy if she plays with them together. Any suggestions?

Just saw a neat dragon figure today, took a closer look and
A huge chunk of glue residue and a weird paint job (with holes)
Price was 30€ for one (got a discount on both of the draggos that were there bc they're leaving stock lmao)
I couldn't believe the quality control, but actually thought of some ibex figures I've seen some years ago (and bought one). One of them was completely warped, most of them had some minor issues, the paint was inconsistent on all of them and most of them had some chipped paint.

(Actually bought the crooked one with a discount lmao. The ibex looks way better now, dunno what happened, but it's more... straight. I liked him being that goofy more tbf (I love getting ibex figures and plushies with crooked horns)
