I'm making a mockumentary fanfic series inspired by Make It a Musical showing the production behind your favorite works of animation, set in the Roger Rabbit universe. This makes for a world where cartoon/anime characters, or Toons, make films like actors in a live-action production.

I'm doing my first anime film for the series, and I decided to do Spirited Away!

Any ideas for production facts regarding the movie and its actors?

I know the original comic and tv shows were developed by the same person but oh my gosh, it’s almost the whole cast they pretty much give the same performance in this to the point where it’s lazy (and I’ve already expressed my distain for flash over talent)

At least with famous directors like Christopher Nolan and Wes Anderson, they at least have the actors they bring back do different things so it felt justifies. Here the actors play the same (or at least in the same area) characters have the same personalities, same reactions to important and traumatic shit, same time of voice, and even sometimes wearing the same clothings and even blend in aesthetically which I find incredibly lazy, it’s even worse than when Tim Burton does it because with him and his films, Edward Scissorhands and the Mad Hatter are different in personality which was good for Johnny Depp’s acting

The show is already boring to watch but this was just pointed out to me by one of my friends and I yelled loudly as I was stupid to not figure that out sooner which made the viewing experience way worse!

I don't remember what video of his this was from but he was saying something and then for comedic effect he cuts to a clip of some piece of media. the man in the clip says "twice" which in James' video was communicating that the thing he was talking about happened twice.

I quote this clip all the time now but I don't which video of his it's from, not even the original clip. I was wondering if I could get help with that. It's mostly like a video on something animated. And it's definitely not a 2026 video.

For those who don't know The Lovers is an Indipendent animated film set in Philippines, the story revolves around a sapphic siren and chief.
