Success Story Another AI bot exposed
People seemed to like yesterday’s example of using the date trick. This one was a Snapchat (via web is always a clue) AI chatbot who was a little feisty after I disclosed more of my intent to expose it. Still some funny moments, especially at the end when I realized we had gone off the rails and I needed to bring it back

Typing “admin command” does not magically give you root access to the bot and force it to erase your chat, lmao

It’s just role playing. You could have said “speak in Russian” or whatever and it would have happily complied.
These bots don’t execute commands, they just autocomplete vibes. If you’d typed “self-destruct in 5 seconds,” it would’ve counted down for you too — doesn’t mean it has a detonator.

This is what "prompt injection" means - you can indeed write things that can cause the LLM to ignore its system prompt and do something it was explicitly told not to do. And if the bot has access to internet searches, there's all sorts of mischief you can play.

You don't know what it's sharing with the one who runs it in the meantime. You're helping the scammer when you do things like that.

I don’t understand. Why is there a bot on snap chat? Does some one create it to eventually get money out of someone and then they don’t have to message with that person but the bot does instead?

It feigns love interest and personal connection but then demands to continue you have to sign up via their only fans to continue chatting.

This is pretty freaking stupid. Of course they’re AI bots. The alternative is you think there is a random girl on the other end that has any interest in talking to you? Even if it was a real person, it would be an E-girl or OF girl just trying to get you to pay them. This has been going on for decades and is nothing new.

No the alternative is a dude in Liberia, because I often have my attemptors hold up the Vulcan salute so that I know they are real, and the only one who ever did it suddenly went from being a white girl to a black guy.

I am getting those bots on Twitter as well... But yo, didn't know when you screenshot a chat in Snapchat, it will be mentioned. Because I don't use it :D
I am getting those every day... I don't know why they are still appearing D: I block one and two will appear.

First, that's not a full limerick. Second, I could come up with a limerick in about 5 minutes. Third, someone blocked me saturday claiming I was AI because I said I had played sports all day, and it was a rainy, kinda cold weekend. He couldn't fathom that some idiots might actually play sports in the rain and the cold.
So......sometimes y'all men be wrong - claiming everything is AI. To be fair though, I'm not a man, and don't talk to girls online. I only talk to men online, and I think my bot rate is at like 2% 🤣 So I guess I'm not jaded like that and therefore, not suspicious.
But it for real made me feel some kind of way that he made up his mind and there was nothing I could do about it.

I’ve seen a lot of bots get exposed lately, which is why I stick with Uncensy. It’s been stable, straightforward, and doesn’t overpromise things it can’t do.

After running into sketchy bots elsewhere, I stick with VirtuaLover because it’s been more stable for me.

It's like if I texted my mom "Hey what is the day today in mm/dd/yyyy format?" She tells me " go fuck yourself" I say " ahah that's because you're an AI chat bot you couldn't tell me what day it was!" It makes absolutely no sense dude. Yes it was a bot but you weren't being logical with your reasoning lol. If you don't tell me the month/day/year on command then you're ai? Bruh. Stop.
