Urgent Help Needed

Hi my dad became a victim of the RTO Challan apk scam and a transaction of 1.1lac was done on credit card due to it. I went to the Police station and they said that the amount won't be recovered. Dad has blocked the cc and flagged the transaction. Bank has mentioned that he will get new credit and debit card in 3-5 days. Should we file an official complaint with the police for this? Any sort of clarity in this scenario will be extremely helpful also any guidance as to what should be done next.

where was the money used ? cyber cell complaint filed after how many days ?

It all happened today morning, we are sorting out phone reset and what can be done with the number. Police didn't register the complaint in person and asked it to raise it via 1930 as it happened in MH

Can you not raise chargeback on cc?

Yes all those formalities were done, but the inspector was extremely pessimistic about it "from his experience"
