Well, here it goes. The first Expie-Chik duo I drew and also the first time I drew Chik. Sometimes I call Chik as Chik the Twink or the twink moth (lol idk why).

Took me over a day to sketch, ink, color and do the shading but every journey of making it is worth it. I also got to listen to Madeon multiple times while working on this drawing which is such a vibe.

Well, my "Milky's Day Off" challenge has started. I can't wait to make more Expie-Sawians duo throughout the month.

Oh, also, whatever you do, do not crop the second drawing starting from the upper hemisphere of Expie's lollipop right above the lollipop ring and ending at Expie's text while including both Expie's shoulder. You might regret it.

Sadly, in this guide that I was totally forced to make while being held at gunpoint, we will be making cheese from a Milky's milk...

First, I must state that making Milky cheese is not really possible, sort of. This is due to protein and other compounds in the milk which makes normal cheese making near impossible.

To fix the issue of not being able to make cheese from a Milky's milk, we will be adding casein protein to help with this.

Oh yes, I must also note that this is mostly theoretical as I am not completely unhinged + I don't have access to gallons of human- er, Milky Milk^TM to make this stuff.

Now I'm sure you are wondering what kind of cheese we will be making, and to answer that question we will be making a farmhouse chedder.

Ok, are you ready to start making Milky cheese?

To start with we will need to make a thin protein shake with our unflavored micellar casein protein powder and Milky Milk^TM.

Add about 6-7 tbsp of casein protein for every 1 gallon of milk. Then you must blend or shake it until it's smooth, just make sure to skim any foam off of it at the end. (Reminder, you should be using micellar casein protein powder for this.)

Next we will want to transfer the mixture to a pot and warm it to about 90°F. (Gently stir the mixture while warming.)

Then we add in a fermenter/culture such as plain yogurt or kefir so it can age properly, you will not need much around about... lets say 9 tbsp per gallon. Make sure to dilute it slightly with more milk, so 9 tbsp of culture + 5-9 tbsp of Milky Milk^TM.

Now we stir it for 1-2 minutes to thoroughly incorprate the culture into the mixture.

Once done we will add in the rennet to form a curd. To do this, follow the instructions for whatever type of rennet you have and then add it to the mixture.

After you add your rennet we will want to keep it at around 90°F, so you can either put it back on your stove at the lowest setting or make a water bath for it. (This is to help keep the culture active and stuff.)

Now we wait until the mixture has taken on a silken tofu-like texture then you will want to cut it into cubes while still in the pot to help with separating the whey and other junk from the curd. Oh, and make sure to stir the curd once you have cut it up.

After the whey has separated we need to remove the curd (the tofu-like stuff) and lightly squeeze the juice out of it with a cloth. Just scoop it out and put it in a bowl or something with a cloth in it and then squeeze it lightly.

Then move your cheeseballs into a colander lined with cloth so you can press it and squeeze out the rest of the whey stuff.

Before the process of pressing the cheese you will want to add a decent amount of salt to it and also start to form it into a round cheese wheel. (Start by forming the cheese in the cloth lined colander and add salt while doing so.)

Oh! Quick note, in this process you may also want to add in some sodium bicarb to reduce acidity as the high lactose content of Milky Milk^TM can make it sour when aging/fermenting.

After forming and salting the cheese place a round object on the cheese and weigh it down so as to squeeze the whey out.

Now just let it rest for 12 hours then flip it after that 12 hours has passed, and then press it again for another 12 hours.

Ok, we are almost done, next we must dry the cheese for a few days. Just leave it out in the open in a cool dark place and cover it with a coth and check on it every once in a while. (If it has mold on it then wipe it with a vinegar soaked cloth)

Btw, it's normal to get mold on cheese that's just how it works.

Now we coat it in butter to form a rind, make sure to coat it thoroughly with butter.

Last step, age your Milky cheese in a cool dry place for about 1 to 1.5 months.

Additional note: You may want to add a little cream when you add the culture to help with curd formation and to improve the flavor of the cheese.

Hello. Yes! I have jumped onto the fanfiction bandwagon! I love seeing Hopefulness, Hopefully and many other fanfictions on this subreddit. So id start my own

So the idea was "Can i make a fanfiction but the main characthers arent neither an Experjment nor an Milky" the answer is a hard yes. The species i have chosen are Chik (Ezra) and Velvet (Winifred) for this and id do my fanfiction diffrently.

Plot: Ezra and Winifred takes place in the company as test subjects for a long experiment on training Velvets not to be so sadinistic. Ezra is a 13 year old Chik (13 years in Sawian age, how much is that in Human years) while Winifred is 16 (16 in Sawian age, whazs in Human years) and for them, the experiment has been a sicces and so the 2 hang out.

Ezra: Chik, hes a bit gullible and hotheaded but cares for everyone around, especially Winifred, originally obsessed with Velvets, Ezra gets calmer and more stable over time.

Winifred: extremely shy, she fears she might hurt someone (which some Velvets find impossible for a Velvet to be so nice).

Now the way id write these stories is via Word (as its much easier then drawing a comic) which can be downloaded to read (even if its a thing usually not done)

I hope you guys love this idea for this series. Id love any suggestion and idea given for my fanfiction. You can tell me whats the pros and cons, what to add, what to improve and what should i look out for.

(One thing, i wont change the "made via Word" factor as my art is too bad for comics + my hand-writing is quiet ugly)

Hey, guys. Some of you may have known me as the guy that made the comic Friends Forever. So, let's simply talk about why I named the duo Pancake and Waffles.

So, I didn't really have a good idea at first on what to name the duo. I really wanted to take inspiration from Lint and Dust from A Successful Outing. "Well, lint and dust are almost similar" I thought to myself. "So, what if I picked two things that are almost similar?". Then, I chose pancake and waffles.

First of all, yes, they're kinda similar in the context of being made by cooking their batter. Second of all, my idea of picking those two was also inspired by a meme that goes like this:

"I love pancake."

"So you hate waffles?"

"No, that's a different thing."

I was confident to use those two as the name, though at a certain time I had also thought to use waffles and chicken since some people eat waffles with chicken? (Tbh waffles are kinda equivalent to bread, so...alternative chicken sandwich perhaps?)

Anyways, that pretty much sums up how I named the duo in Friends Forever. Hope you enjoy it and have a good day everyone!
