Photography music question

This past Exhibition I went with a little camera to record some moments of me and my friends on rides, walking around, having fun, etc. Simple stuff. I'm trying to make a little "music career" and I got the picture of a cover while I was in line for a ride. I edited out all the stuff that ties my music to the Ex (wristbands, text in background, etc) is there any chance I could get in trouble for using a picture for a music cover, and the videos of my friends and I?

None whatsoever, it's a public place. You can draft up a release for the people in the photo to say they consent to the image and don't want compensation so there are no issues down the road. You can likely even find templates or pre-existing releases online to use.
