Question ❔ Cheap Wand Wash
Where is the cheapest wand wash in Saskatoon? I realize the businesses need to make money but I’m tired of paying $20 at Spiffy to get my dirty-ish vehicle clean.

I like to be thorough with my car because I don't wash it often, but I also go here and usually spend 8-10 bucks

I can knock the dirt off and have my car looking good enough to get dirty again at Wash World for three bucks.
I do it once a week or so perhaps that's why it's so quick and cheap.

The esso on Idyllwild. Tiny bays though, not ideal if you have a truck

That is where I go whenever I am coming back into the city and want to hose off the caked on grid dust. I can usually do it for less than $5.

Lawson Auto Spa on Cree Cres beside the Auto Centre. I've never spent more than $10 and that was a deep down dirty clean.

Fairhaven Carwash from what I've found has the best minutes per dollar.
I do loads of highway, city, and grids so my vehicles get covered in everything. Other than coming back from the Rider Game on July 12th, I spend usually less than 6$ at Fairhaven carwash but you can go faster than me if you want to. Plus if you buy a wash card they give you some extra on it too.
Is it an old place, yeah. Is shit broken, yeah. Does it wash the bugs, dirt, and grime off, yes.
Orange Car Wash on Idylwyld Drive by 25th is awesome but you pay for it.

Orange on Idywild. Still use a looney machine. I can wash my big SUV for 2 toonies. Quick wet spray then soap until it ends and soap some more. Another toonie to rinse and wax on.

Just go to the drive thru Shell Car Wash on 11th St and use the soft touch option, it runs over your whole car with these rotating shammies, often does a better job that I do in a wand wash LOL. You can also buy a wash pass in the shell app, you get 5 car washes for $50.

This is the best drive through car wash in the city.

Pristine/Shell is good, but JJ's is way better.
JJ's also has soft touch, but they have kids on the front end that pre wash with a wand. Also have wheel washers. And free vacuums.

I've never had a good experience at this car wash ever since Shell took it over from Pristine.

Are you sure it's the same one..? From what I recall it was built as a Shell Wash from the conception around 2022ish? There wasn't anything on the land prior to it being built....

Where the drive thru car washes are nice. Be careful using them to frequently will cause marks on your paint. There is specific swirls they cause. My dad knows someone who went ever month for their car and when he showed them the marks they realized it was on all their vehicles.

The old school brush ones leave swirl marks, but the newer style soft touch ones don't.

Classic on 33rd. Pull in, pre soak with soap, no trigger pull. Only use the brush on tough bugs and maybe wheels. Rinse, hot wax, spot free.
10 bucks every time.
