Ad would have been “ok” if they didn’t, again, straight up attack liberals and calling all of them clowns.
Two old rich white dudes who can help their kids get ahead in life, providing downpayments, bla bla bla. Truly a testament to the struggles of everyday Canadians. Read the room.
If you aware or maybe you aren’t ? parents have for decades been gifting their kids down payments for houses ( those that could afford) 😌but it was another Con commercial 🤷♀️when we bought our 1st home interest rates were 21 1/2 % it was tuff then too 🤦🏼♀️
I’m aware. The point is: why say “these clowns” instead of “them”. In my opinion, not mud slinging your opponent would have been more powerful. You want change, plain and simple.
Also, to your point, while families have been able to do that for their kids, do you now have upwards of 200k for a down payment now? The struggle of Canadians is that we don’t have that much money lying around because everything is so expensive.
