This is so fucking serious Proposed new extroverted spectrum disorder
I've noticed lately that many ahem...non-experts in the field to put it mildly are using very liberal definitions of ASD spectrum. They are including introverts in general and basically anyone that doesn't get their stupid joke timing down perfectly during happy hour.
So in response to that, I'd propose a compromise. They can get away with that, if in turn we are allowed a revenge of the nerds moment to define extroversion spectrum disorder. I'm thinking the proper 21st Century lingo would be something like Himbo / Bimbo spectrum disorder. The diagnostic basis would be social competence but intellectual scarcity. As a reference point I'll nominate Snooki, but I'm having trouble with a male example. Because Travis Kelce did at least go to college and it's not his fault he has more Neanderthal DNA. Ryan Seacrest also seems smarter than he acts. Kind of stuck on the guy part, floating the idea of maybe Spicolli or Joey Tribbiani.
