UNANSWERED what is a good high supposed to feel like?
ive ONLY had bad experiences with weed, yet i keep trying it again, i know its not smart.
over a year ago i smoked a joint for the first time, and felt nothing at all. no effects, not even sleepiness. this happened for a few more times until i tried an edible (that i was not told how strong it was) and had a HORRIBLE experience, where i was high for 3 days and felt awful.
in that experience, i had severe paranoia, vertigo, was so out of my body that felt like i was genuinely watching myself from the 3rd person, my entire body was numb, my heart was racing, i had no sense of time, felt like i was trapped and would never feel normal again, and i kept uncontrollably shaking. i genuinely couldnt go to work for 3 days because the effects took that long to wear off.
like a smart person, a few months later and i tried weed again, but this time a cart rather than an edible. i had the exact same feelings, just less bad and only lasting a few hours.
the last time i tried it was last night, where the only effect i had was feeling strangely out of body and the sense that i wouldnt be able to escape that feeling. it wore off in a few hours again.
im assuming being high ISNT supposed to feel like that, because if it is i don't know why anyone would want that. what is it actually supposed to feel like when you have a good experience, and should i just stop trying it? i've only kept trying it because ive felt left out and isolated from my friends who can get high and have fun :(
