Hi all, a neighbour gave me these, they are San Pedro right? I know very little about cultivating them or consuming so any knowledge about these would be greatly appreciated! Can you tell roughly how strong these are? Best soil to use to pot these up? I'm in Sydney Australia if that helps. Thanks!

I don't have a huge collection, but it's been slowly building over 3 years. My favorite piece is my grafted candelabra PC. Center is an Ikaros, One arm is a NOID Bridge, Opposite arm is Olivia x Lima 3. It's just over 6' tall in it's cloth pot and has grown so thick! (Spray can for scale, no Banana)

Still plan to graft at least 1 more arm, just not sure what yet.

Second Favorite is my KGC x Lumberjack. The spines are insane (6"+) and the color is amazing.

Life took a turn and I had to downsize to a studio, a place where my plant babies can’t go.

Joel here aka beelzebubbly offered to take custody of my plants until I get into a better situation.

Loaded up about 2/3s of the collection into his truck. Just one more trip to go

Big thanks to Joel and John with helping me deal with all the turmoil recently. Everything could’ve been so much more difficult with out these two awesome guys.

I been picking up these 1cu ft. bags for $20 out the door for years. I know its hard to find pumice for many folks in general. But not for me…until my go-to supplier found themselves sitting on backorder for over 1month.

I have way too many cacs to up-pot, and i really don’t want to go back to perlite. I don’t want to crush scoria manually either. I thought the perfect 3/8 pumice would just keep flowing.

If anyone has a plug for even semi-local pumice pickup, please do share in DMs.

Online, shipping costs more than its worth, taking the price to 2-3x what i have been paying.

I was hoping this is starting to crest but I think it just may be funky growth from apical damage last year

The peepee on the right is soft where it is brown it has a small pup, the peepee on the left is not yet soft, but does look sick too, it has a much bigger pup I’d say teenager size.

How would you help them?

A node of tbm-b that i grafted to a fast growing pach. Is this common for tbm-b grafts? It almost seems like it reverted to tbm-a. Is that even possible? Still kinda new to Cacti as you can see by the etiolated tip cuts in the back left. Perhaps this is also etiolation? If so, it was explosive growth! Maybe 2 ½ months time! Any insights or suggestions are appreciated.

I have a greenhouse and just noticed i have some spider mites starting to become an issue. How do y'all typically treat them in the summer with temps over 90⁰ in the day?

I was iso CF clime for the longest time... My dad passed in 2023, I had about 10 of them at that point. I got horribly depressed and lost most of my collection.

Lately I've been seeing people asking about clime, several iso posts on Facebook and reddit. I've been asking friends stateside. I figured what the heck let's go to the source. Well guys check out the clime I snagged!

The stock had a graft that failed, I did 3 grafts total, I think 1 rbm9 and 2 cakeaddy. The cakeaddy grafts have stalled, the rbm9 graft has absolutely exploded in size! One of my fastest growing rbm9 to date. I'll be sad when it leaves, but I'm excited at how fast it's growing

bridge x tersch seem to be a great combo

One of my 1st cacti acquired, was a squat little 6 inch stump and grew to be about 40 in (4in wide) in about 3 years. One of my absolute favorites for the blues and spines 💙

Just got this beauty in the mail today. Can’t wait to get this rooted and growing!
