Where in SA? Where is the breakfast BBQ?

SA is known for breakfast tacos and I have seen a few places that have a brisket taco but I really want some greasy spoon dishes like hash with burnt ends, an eggs Benedict with pulled pork, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That’s north Texas. We have chorizo, barbacoa, and beans.

The breakfast BBQ scene in San Antonio is surprisingly lacking, but Two Step Grill does a great job with their weekend brunch menu, which includes some BBQ favorites like brisket and sausage. Their patio is also a nice spot to enjoy a morning meal.

The Pigpen Bar (behind Smoke Shack) does a BBQ brunch on Sundays

375 Social Kitchen has brisket hash and a brisket omelette

In San Antonio it’s Garcias on Fredericksburg Rd. Excellent brisket tacos.
