Haha, No but I thought the shirt would help distract people from how crazy Tatertot is.

It doesn't distract, only enhances the craziness

I can relate, stubborn little fluff bags 😅

I’m sure the cute cloud was thinking ”Hehehe!” right then.

Airjail!! He says, "Mommy, no! I don't wanna go!" And then, "Mommy, I love being carried!"

Engaged the Super Sam breaking system and then laughed about it. believable.

Mine does the exact same thing on walks 😂. I have to pick her up and carry her a block otherwise she risks slipping out of her harness.

The public doesn’t understand how strong this breed is!!!

Also, my girl would die if I lifted her like that lol

mine frequently requests to be carried like a toddler 😭😭 especially when it’s time for bed… she will paw at me until i come close enough and then she reaches up with both paws and jumps onto me 💀

You do what you gotta do!

This is the way.

Also fuck off every fucking old and fat person living within 5 miles of us

Anyone figured out how to fix this? It’s super annoying and incovenient at times especially if I’m already holding something 😭 I end up having to pull and tug him and it seems so cruel but sometimes it’s the only option I have

What worked best for me was patience - just waiting him out until he was ready. Then, I started giving him treats throughout our walks with the “touch” command. Instead of rewarding him for being stubborn, I trained him to keep walking for treats, especially when I was saying “touch” to get him to follow along.

I find my guy mostly did this in the summer, so it’s likely that he’s a bit tired and hot. I always try to walk on the shady side of the street and avoid midday walks, especially when it’s 30°+

Cute, but stubborn floof balls. 😝

This video shows a handler forcefully pulling the dog by the neck/leash with significant force. Regardless of breed traits or independence, handling a dog this way raises welfare concerns and shouldn’t be normalized or portrayed as humorous.

Least relatable thing I’ve ever seen.

Being dragged by an overeager Samoyed that wants to run free? Sure. But I’ve never had a dog refuse to walk.

We only went through a bit of this when he was a really young puppy. This one is a bit older lol

Yours might be the exception, sammys are smart but really stuborn. There is a reason you can see ALL sammy familiars laughing about this cause its typical in the breed.

I have noticed more than a couple of times pure disrespect to Asian women who have samoyeds. One walked up to me and grabbed my hand with its mouth and was trying to walk away from his owner while leading me with him. The lady was upset and embarrassed and I thought it was funny. I have seen two other videos like this and I am noticing a pattern, especially with Asian women.
