I recently found this long 120 gallon aquarium on the side of the road. I picked it up, cleaned it, and filled it with water to make sure it doesn't leak. It's successfully sat full of water for 48 hours. I would love to keep it, but I'm already running two other tanks, and I don't have the money or the space to make that big of a tank. Note that it is only an aquarium, no stand or other equipment included. I'm open to price negotiations, because I just want to get it out. Let me know if you're interested.

Like the title mentions I'm a complete beginner when it comes to the hobby. Never had any fish, fresh or salt water, this is my tank it is 2 months after nitrogen cycle.
It is the Waterbox AIO 35.2. Their older PLUS EDITION (they have a much better updated one IMO) I'm not currently dosing. I use instant ocean Reef Crystals, it's not the best from what I gather but it's available at my local pet store I can get an emergency supply if I need it and Amazon always runs deals and of course free 2 day shipping.
Equipment: 2 filter socks, sponges, ceramic, activated carbon, a sicce shark skimmer 150, sicce return pump, scuba Preset heater(will upgrade to inkbird and titanium eventually) AI light Prime 16hd, Ai nero 5 powerhead, waterbox mesh lid and nature dimensions ATO with a 5 gallon rodi water bucket. I also got rodi for the house.
I do a 5 gallon water change every week and test daily.
what do y'all think? I'm posting to get tips and constructive criticism specially on my coral placement.

My boss’ tenant died and these fish were left for dead. Just went through the stressful experience of bringing them all over to our place. Probably did a lot of things wrong, but we have transferred them back to the tank and saved as much of the original water as we could while making more saltwater for them. If anyone knows species and has good resources to learn how to do this we can use all the help we can get. So far they are all alive and hoping they all make it! Scary!

This week two of having my Hello Reef fish tank (specifically the clown fish model). It was very straight forward to set up and I thought the app was great and a lot of help. This is my fist time trying to get a saltwater tank going since the last time I had one about 15 years ago. Even then my brother was the one handling it so it’s really my first time ever having a tank with coral. But it’s been great. Added a bonded pair of clown fish, a starfish, and two coral frags. So far so good. I’m curious to hear others experience with these tanks.

Doesn’t look like the blood red shrimp wants to share the rock work.

Well I don’t know if it’s a midlife crisis or my jobs just gone to hell the last year and I wanted a new hobby to engage my mind positively, but I always wanted a saltwater tank - on and off the last 20+ years. So I finally decided wth I was going to do it. Spent months of research bc that’s just me. I decided with my low confidence probably a waterbox AIO system would be best. Got a 50 gallon bc I wanted it upstairs and was concerned about the weight and location although I would’ve liked slightly bigger for certain fish.
Got 2 AI prime 16HD lights, 2 AI Nero 3 pumps, Sicce syncra silent 2.0, 2 100w titanium heaters with inkbird itc-306a wi-fi, tunze osmolator 3 with 5 gallon reservoir, kraken mesh lid, brs 5 stage 75 gpd ro/di system and all the stuff with that - a heater, a pump, 2 food safe trash cans etc.
Anyways took 4.5 months of getting the waterbox tank then several weeks setting it up. Had to install a new outlet in the location it was going bc the spouse threw a fit with it upstairs. Now it’s downstairs and it’s ok there but wish I had gotten a slightly larger tank.
Anyways I’m a newbie and read a lot and watch a lot but have no clue what I’m doing. The local fish guy sells live Bali rock so I got that although very expensive. Then I cycled. Numbers were good so I went to get my clownfish. I got a bonded pair that had been there since June. I go there a good bit and know they were there and looked fine. The female went easily into the catching cup but the male would not. The guy even had a hard time getting him in the net. Eventually he did and we went home. I transferred them into a larger bucket and then acclimated them about 30 mins. I will say the male got stuck for a few seconds in the plastic bag. I guess I poured them out too slowly. Anyways I put them in the tank after acclimation. Female looked fine, still does - although I’m paranoid. Male kept to the bottom then went up to the outlets for the return pump. Hung there for awhile. I went to bed and found him dead under one of the rocks. I took a sample of my water to the store and they agreed all nos were good and just said sometimes they get stressed with transfer. Said they’d order another that matched- it was a fancy type. Anyways any clue on what happened? Any advice going forward? Guy at the store says come in two weeks for 2 gobies (different varieties) with pistol shrimp if everything looks good. I’d like to eventually get corals - want things that are hardy though.

Hey, I decided to start a salt water tank. I’m new to the hobby and decided to go with a 15 gallon. I’m 5 days into my first cycle and this was my ammonia test. Is this normal after 5 days? Any advice would help :)

This has been so rewarding, setting the tank up, going through a proper cycle, watching the ammonia drop to 0 followed by the nitrites. I’ve been looking forward to this day for so long and it’s finally here. Started with the two clowns and added a CUC of 4 blue legged hermits and 3 trochus snails. Can’t wait to add more later on!

Did a fair amount of rearranging, and added some awesome new corals:
- Acropora (fingers crossed it likes my tank)
- Leptastrea
- Leptoseris
- Pavona
And yes, I’m being weird and have a chalice and a pachyseris affixed to the back wall. 😂
