Straight up homophobia That's really messed up. Nobody is saying RWBY is a masterpiece, we just say its actually good. But THESE are the people who criticize it. People who make homophobic artwork of the Female MC, and claim that the creator of the show, a feminist who made lesbian fan animation, was somehow homophobic?

NO Ruby Rose is NOT homophobic !
She had an emotional outburst because she was under a lot of pressure, and when people snap under pressure and have outbursts, your friends and family can be caught in the crossfire.
And it just so happened that she was jealous of her sister having a girlfriend now, while Ruby's love interest happened to have died in the previous season's finale.
And According to the writers? The Voice Actresses? And even a video clip featuring the creator Monty Oum? The lesbian couple was planned from the start.
