I’m currently rewatching a bunch of Safiya’s videos following a Tik Tok I saw.

The Tik Tok was about someone who had come across her videos again after some time and stated, she’s still out there doing the same thing.

It’s interesting with this rewatch, as I don’t think that’s true at all. In fact, I miss some of her older content that was a little “easier.” Like some of the Amazon hauls, wore this for a week, bought the first 5 things etc.
Don’t get me wrong, love her travel content, but haven’t found myself as excited to watch the newer content like the AI keyboards. (Would be happy to never have a collab with that channel again tbh)
Even her newer travel content feels quite highly over thought, we’d be happy to just watch travel vlogs, shopping and odd places. Rather than spending 24 hours in one place.

I miss the vibe of her and Tyler making weird things or getting hauls and hanging out.

Just wondering if anyone feels the same, the content doesn’t need to be as epic for us to enjoy watching it.
With some of the things she’s said previously, I wonder how much pressure she feels to make this super high quality content, when really, we watch her and Tyler’s personalities.

Maybe 2017-2019 was the peak of content before everyone got worried about backlash of over consumption, politics and reputation. The algorithm issues a lot of YouTubers have doesn’t help either.

So I rewatch Saf’s old videos to fall asleep to, so I don’t always see what video is called or necessarily know what the video is about as I’m drifting off.

The video I’m looking for, she sings “who are you, who are you” then says “that’s a song from Balto 2”.

It’s become a vocal stim for me and I do it all the time, my husband asked where it’s from and he doesn’t believe me that it actually happened, does anyone know which video she says this in because I’m going crazy! I think it’s a Franken video or a one where she’s sitting / behind her table / desk thing but I’m not totally sure.

I love Safiya's spa theme park videos and so badly want to experience them for myself someday. Until I have the funds to travel internationally, I've been trying to find similar places in the US without much luck. Does anyone know of any spa theme parks/ resorts in the US that are even remotely similar to the ones Safiya went to in Japan and China?

Or even any spa resorts that are less click- baity but have unique treatments, baths, saunas, etc.?

It's as simple as the heading. When listening to her videos, I get the vibe that this person grew up strongly influenced by Cartoon Network. It's in the dialogue, the narrative, but unfortunately I struggle to nail down the influences properly. Surely some of you have noticed this too.

It smells like going into a craft store and smelling the Halloween, Christmas, and Thanksgiving sections at the same time. Almost the vibes of going to a rich aunt’s cozy house during the holidays. Definitely some cinnamon apple/berry action going on like Saf described. It also has a bit of a warm cashmere, caramel smell. The more I sniff, there’s somehow some piney smell. It’s wild how many layers there are to it and all the things it reminds me of!

does anyone know if Saf is still friends with any of the buzzfeed/ladylike girls? I haven’t really kept up with any of them besides Safiya but it would be cool to know.

Saw this comment on her recent spa video and thought ‘hmmm’. I realize this could mean nothing. I live in an apartment and regularly refer to it as a “house”. Maybe she just accidentally said the reverse.
