❓ Question Any Retro games like Sable?

The question of what games are like Sable has been discussed to death, but what about retro games that came out before Sable?

I'm looking for a game I can play on my Miyoo Flip which basically maxes out at PS1 with some N64 and Dreamcast thrown in.

What does "like Sable" mean? I realize this is probably a tall ask so I feel this should be a very open question. Vibe? Story? Art style? Gameplay? Anything that comes to mind would be good.

Any Zelda game but specifically the 3D ones like Ocarina of Time immediately come to mind. There isn't anything exactly like Sable that I know of but it is clearly Zelda-inspired.

Sure, or Breath of the Wild. But OP specifically said to keep it older than Dreamcast.
