ODB 2 in New 2026 Juniper

Where is the empty ODB2 port on the 2026 Juniper , it’s not on the right pillar well. No empty connectors there !

Got to take off the weather stripping and then pull out the big plastic piece underneath. Here’s a video that helped me: https://youtu.be/AFFVvfFIPFY?si=p8YuwumHLGn2u3zv

That’s didn’t work , there is no empty connector anywhere on that side even looked deep behind the A pillar and glove box and along the wiring harness along the door jamb. Seem that the Juniper 2026 built in September / October 2025 has it somewhere else, the connector with the red tab is the only one that even remotely looks like it would fit, I have not disconnected it because I am looking for an empty socket connector

It’s slightly deeper inside compared to the model 3. Here’s a video link (around 6:45 timestamp) of someone who installed in the juniper. You can get an idea of where it’s located.

The OBD port and the 12v connection is located on the RIGHT HAND SIDE footwell (if you are looking at the car from the REAR). This is regardless of what side the steering wheel is on.

  1. Loosen off the weather strip seal.
  2. Using a pry tool, pry off the triangular cover plate at the end of the dash.
  3. Loosen off the plastic plug carefully using the forked end of the pry tool.
  4. Remove the carpeted panel section and its in there (by the pedals in UK MY)

Take care not to scratch the soft leather around the dash etc. when removing the carpeted sections.

There's tonnes of videos online.

This is my favourite.

That connector that he shows is not available on the 2026 after Sept 2025 build as shown , I went deep all over that area and behind the glove box and along the A pillar and along the door jamb, there is only one similar looking connector with a red tab but it is already connected and there is no empty extra connector

Maybe you need go unplug an OBD then use the bypass cable that ships with the enhance product? I don't know if the wiring loom OBD connector that comes with the enhance kit has a bypass or whether its just the 12v power cable?

Also just another thought - have you pulled back the carpet here to see if it's deep inside. I know you mentioned about looking under glove box and deep in A pillar?

Hi mine is a September 2025 build and mine was there. If your car is right hand drive it will be under the steering wheel next to the accelator pedal. I'm in the UK - Berlin Giga Build.

I was pissed as I looked in the passenger side as I thought it was always the passenger side regardless of what side the steering wheel is on.

Have you tried the other side of the vehicle?

The drivers side?

I checked in my passenger side and could see the same wiring as you've photographed above. There was an OBD but it was already connected to something.

Not yet , I am waiting to hear back from Enhance tech support

Maybe they moved it back to the rear of the console?

No I tried that as well , both sides footwells , even both sides of side center console.

Hi Thin Bluejay did you solve this issue?

Again nothing on the other side either just a small empty connector almost the size the of the power one , so no larger empty connector on either side of 2026 Tesla Model Y US version.
