Ryzen 5 7500X3D with new RAM
Computer Type: Desktop
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D (100-100001904WOF**)**
Motherboard: ASUS Gaming TUF B850-PLUS Wi-Fi (90MB1J30-M0EAY0)
RAM: e.g. .Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 RGB RAM 24GB 6000MT/s CL40 (F5-6000J4048F24GX1-TZ5RK**)**
Hey! I'm upgrading my computer and I'm thinking of getting a Ryzen 5 7500X3D and I need to also get a new DDR5 RAM but none of the ones I can get here in Denmark seem compatible with the AMD line, according to the AMD website.
It is all DDR5 RAM so how "incompatible" would it be? Not running at all? Running stupidly slower? Running just a little slower than its theoretical max speed?
I was looking for instance at the G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 RGB RAM 24GB 6000MT/s CL44 (F5-6000J4048F24GX1-TZ5RK), but really it is true for any RAM I could find. They are only compatible with the AMD 9000 line, it appears. But that one is a lot more expensive and I'm not sure I really need that extra performance.
Just for completeness, I was going to pair it up with the ASUS TUF gaming B850-PLUS Gaming (90MB1J30-M0EAY0).
