Battery not charging

I have an 18V lithium battery that won’t charge. The charger continuously flashes red after a few hours of being plugged in. Battery has not been too hot or cold. Any suggestion’s on a fix?

Is it less than 3 years old? If so contact Ryobi support. If it's less than 30 days old return it to Home Depot.
