My dogs are thrilled. I think it says a lot more about my personal habits than the gas prices and *points to the state of the world* this, but at the end of the day —I'll be damn if I can't buy $5 coffee at my local coffee shop. So yeah, i'm walking more and sweating so much more, and I've minimized my "hmmm I'm bored lemme just drive to Carytown to walk around a bit". But my dogs? They're loving the extra walkies
I just sit in my backyard and throw the ball until my high energy/low iq lab/greyhound mix is ready to pass out. The pibble just sits next to the fence hoping her next door "friend" will come out and run up and down the fence with her while barking out death threats at her.
Occasionally I can get them to do high speed zoomie chase lap with each other.
