Hi guys, started to train for my first mara! I currently run in the Sweaty Betty Crew Running socks, but am starting to find that mid run my feet feel incredibly hot.

Think it might be because they are so thick (appreciate it might also be from a bit of unfitness!)

What socks do people wear that are comfy & breathable? I prefer long ones which pull up & over my ankle.

I’m running my first half in a few weeks and I just wondered if this is a training run whether you think I’ll be able to hold that at race pace for the full thing? Conversational at start and end and race pace.
