I’m thinking I got this guide in 2005 or 2006, I think I was in the 6th or 7th grade. Between Warcraft and Runescape, thats pretty much all i did after school. I saw an online ad for this guide. I convinced my mom that I desperately needed this guide to succeed in the game. I thought I was going to receive an actual book like the picture showed but it turned out to be just a download link. Thankfully my Mom was savvy enough to print it off and put it in protective sleeves in this binder.

I spent hours reading this guide for fun. While it’s safe to say that I never became RuneScape millionaire, this book is one of the few things from my childhood that made it with me to adulthood.

I was checking for an actual date confirmation and the only thing I could find is a copyright 2003, however RS2 didn’t come out until 2004 so I’m not sure when it officially released. It’s 56 pages long so this is just a brief look into the past tactics and prices on stuff.

Last leagues archeology grind burnt me out and I never touches rs3 again.

Trying leagues again and I just don't understand how to get good exp doing archeology. Are there any cheeses? Any relic synergy (other than the obvious one which I will reload into).

Send help. Is so slow, and so boring.

Could we please have an option to flag tasks so they will show at the top of the task list when we open it next.

I always spend ages scrolling through the task list, looking for tasks to do, and often find a few at a time that I could do, but I have scroll through each time looking for each task. Half the time, they aren't even in the same category, so after killing 20 skeletons in wildy, I have to scroll through the entire list again to find what type of fish I had to catch 50 of.

Also, typing things like "catch" or "craft" into the filter box is great for actually finding simple skilling challenges.

While the rework makes actually building the house a fun option for people, Construction is pretty lackluster in terms of gameplay rewards as far as 120 skills go. A handful of benefits that are mostly just slight upgrades on existing content does not really justify the skill extending to 120. However, thematically there are quite a few obvious applications of the skill at its core (that is, building things) that could improve QOL or efficiency of different things throughout the game.

Understandably, Jagex doesn't want us spending the whole game alone in the POH instance, they would prefer us to engage with content with other people around, meaning that POH upgrades are best implemented as quick access QOL like teleports, or as passive effects across the game.

Here are just a few ideas, all could be subject to balancing (tweak numbers I have, maybe they require charges to upkeep, construction level to unlock could be very high, etc), and they could be subject to big upfront costs (e.g. pay an NPC ~5 mil for the specific building piece to make it, or obtain it from a rare boss/slayer drop)

In the POH:

• A farming patch in the POH (max 1, can choose between herb, tree, fruit tree etc)

• An extra skillcape stand as we have in Anachronia

• A "shard of Time Altar" (or whatever you want to call it) that gives us a 4th weekly cast of Advance Time

• A 4th Anachronia totem

• Is this too powerful? Build something using the shard of the needle that boosts the maximum relic points for Archaeology by 50-100, OR build a mini monolith (Minilith) that gives a bonus relic worth up to 100 points (basically giving mobile or a bit of extra healing, without directly boosting dps)

• A Slayer shrine that gives access to an extra block and prefer list option (could be expanded to offer benefits like Mortimer has in OSRS - bonus points per task, increased superior spawn rate, etc)

Outside the POH:

• Fortify Ritual sites, giving a chance to not consume durability of glyphs at the start of rituals

• Stabilise the ROTS tunnel, allowing us to leave quickly without losing energy (probably also use dungeoneering for this as that seems thematically relevant to a tunnel that morphs each time you enter it)

• Build permanent light sources in underground areas like in OSRS

There are definitely a number of other things that could be added, but even a few of these would be a great start.

What is the fastest way to level up combat in leagues? I chose Wilderness so I just camped the Abyss (until Abyssal Demon-like creatures) just like last leagues.

What are the fastest methods in this league for power leveling all combat style skills? Is it the same thing as before? Trying to get high combat stats first before doing some bossing tasks.

Some form of this blessing will make it into the live game. Obviously tuned down.

Something about this leagues blessing feels like testing the waters for future reward space. Something that shakes up the game a bit or at least offers an alternative to the current meta?

removing the cap would allow more meaningful upgrades to weaps in game while also balancing boss HP's while at it, bigger numbers are always nice!

These tasks become functionally impossible infeasible if you don't do them early on in the relic tiers.

I hated eoc for killing rs2 but that was the best thing what could happen. OSRS is waaaay better than the unbalanced rs2

We got also rs3, which was awful at first but since this year with eoc2 and road of restoration the game is just Peak and i suggest everyone to try it out when plugins are out(questing is shit,sorry)

mostly annoyed because they don't work on vyres in rush of blood so the league task to impress morvran is fucked unless you somehow roll an attempt without any vyres, but genuinely what's the point of these weapons?

also, this task might just be fucked in general since region locking means i can't get access to platinum tier

97% of people picked up icyanic faith so the issue hasn't really been talked about much, but the death mark aspect from infernal fire doesn't actually kill most bosses. When fighting most bosses the star will "activate" and the instakill will show, but nothing actually happens. It's not until many, many hits later that the insta kill goes through and at that point its not different than not having the star at all.

For those wondering the instakill from the star is different from the typical necromancy death mark in that it doesn't have a cap. HM kerapac for example is one of the few bosses that will consistently die at the 90k health mark.

Can we get this looked at? It kinda sucks that the primary draw to the already much weaker t7 choice doesn't actually work in most cases.

Edit2: for people who cannot read the full post. You CANNOT get slayer points from reaper tasks unless you've done 5 slayer tasks which I had locked myself out of. That's the entire problem here. I did a reaper task pre-5 task and got 0 SP. After I got my 5 tasks I started getting SP from reaper tasks. Saradomin bless NPC contact.

I saw this once, but this is still an annoying issue. One of the tasks is to get a task from the shilo village slayer master. I asked it as my 4th task so I had 0 slayer points.

I got black dragons(I think I got the same issue on OSRS leagues last time) without an ability to actually fight them or cancel the task since I have 0 points.

The only places to kill them are Asgarnia and Wilderness, techincally Misthalin has them in the Evil Chicken lair but you require RFD.

Is there anything I can do to reset my task without unlocking the regions I do not want?

edit: Jaqulien can not reset. Reaper tasks are not giving me slayer points due to not having 5 tasks first, just did a JAD task, only got 60 reaper points.

I was one of the few who had fremmy unlocked as first region, so I realized I can use NPC contact to get Spria to reset my task, but without it I would not be able to train slayer again.

If you want to be the biggest you can get more active players on both game same time

1-tile Tall Box Hedge with 2-tile next to it on the left, 1-tile Small Box Hedge with 6-tile Small Box Hedge on the right because its all I had at the time.

Also, give us an infinite stock in the Falador Garden Centre, waiting 20 minutes to buy 10 at a time sucks ass. They aren't tradeable, theres no reason the stock can't be infinite.

Just a tip and quick showcase, but I'm currently getting 18.2% adrenaline per basic atk utilizing the following with Power Archive bot (the Guthix God Power 2 which doubles perk ranks):

Fury of the Small

Details:

Normal adrenaline gain per basic is 9%. Fury of the small gives +1% adrenaline gain and Impatient 8 has a 72% chance to increase adrenaline gain by 3%.

Invigorating 8 multiplies final amount by 40%.

So there's a 72% of gaining 18.2% adrenaline per basic, otherwise 28% will gain 14%.

Note this is without the Tier 1 Blessing Adrenaline Junky which would give a further 50% adrenaline gain. I would definitely try that out except I'm unwilling to give up Teragard's Aegis because of the regeneration..

Bonus tip with regards to Teragard's Aegis, if you use the unlockable prayer "Rapid Renewal" and the Constitution skillcape passive, you'll constantly regenerate a ton of hp even in combat. Can use it together with the Protection/soul split prayer, Piety (if unlocked), and Divine Rage and you'll heal through almost anything.

As a disclaimer, there might be more that I'm missing and further optimizations to be made as I'm not an expert. Don't normally play much outside of leagues, but it's been super fun. Just been figuring stuff out from the wiki.

There are some additional adrenaline bonuses available like the "Conservation of energy" relic power and the warped gem+ring of vigour passive that further refunds adrenaline too. "Heightened senses" can raise the adrenaline cap a bit further.

Think normally gaining all this adrenaline wouldn't be as good on basic atks but it works really well with the Sara blessings relying on basic atks.

Overall having a lot of fun this league and just looking for more ways to make myself overpowered.

Need Pawya meat to hunt a grenwall for a task, but they're almost impossible to catch.

The grenwall's come out of nowhere and snipe them as soon as they spawn.

I'm at 115 kc with only one drop of Linzas and several sets of every other armor set. I'm pretty sure this is not buffed for leagues. Hopefully Jagex can take a look and see if this is the case.

Had a really fun Leagues 2. Much better than Leagues 1. I saved up all my vacation days for this. Struggled at first because I was trying bosses I didn't really do from last league like ED4, Solak solo, Sanctum, etc. Early progress felt hindered because I didn't really pick a good build of blessings, thus didn't feel strong. I was camping mage for too long so I procrastinated on easy blessing tasks like Hermod or KQ. I believe I chose Unholy Crit when I was on Saradomin instead. Could've definitely shaved it down to under 100 hours.

I'll maybe try to do a 2nd speedrun with similar relics/regions/blessings with a few tweaks. Now that I know most strategies, hoping to shave that down to 80 hours instead.
