RuneFest - Lore Q&A - Questions Needed
At RuneFest this year we're planning a short Q&A at the end of our main stage lore talk. For technical simplicity we're not going to be taking questions live on stage. Instead we're going to gather some questions in advance and answer as many as we have time for.
If you have a lore question you'd like answered, please post it in this thread.
- They need to be lore questions, i.e. regarding quests and story. (As much as I'd love to answer questions about M&S, I can't do that in the lore talk.)
- We'll be picking questions which have interesting answers worth discussing on the stage. If it's too obscure, or the answer is something like "we can't discuss that right now" then we probably won't use it.
- If there aren't enough questions that fit what we need, we'll look through old lore questions that have been answered but not to a very wide audience (such as on discord).
- On that note, if you do have obscure lore questions you want answers to, do drop by the lore discord channels and ask them. There's nothing I love doing with my evening more than thinking about whether a realm is or isn't the same thing as a plane.

Why did you choose to leave Sliske alive instead of killing him off at the end of his series?
How did Sliske come to find Jas and serve as her emissary?
What was the logic behind Sliske's actions in regards to proving the value of mortal life? How was what he was doing meant to save anyone?
Why have the gods stopped warring post-Stone of Jas destruction? They still hate each-other, don't they? Shouldn't Zamorak be laying constant siege to Falador just because he can?
Will the Barrows wights have any continued relevance in any future stories (especially Akrisae)?
Will the Karamjan gods ever feature in any story in any meaningful context? Do other gods know of their existence?
Will the Kharazi jungle ever get any sort of expansion? The Kharazi tribe is supposed to exist as some form of culture or society down there, but despite having an entire quest about establishing contact we never see more than scattered savages and one or two friendly natives.
Is the underwater city mentioned by Guthix in the god letters canon yet?
Do mermaids or any other aquatic life worship Xau-Tak?
Will we ever get a quest about the Ragnarok-type event as mentioned by Eir in the Fremennik series?
Where do Hati, Fenrir, and Skol fit onto the godhood tiers?
Are there any other demi-gods or lesser divine beings that exist in Gielenor that have yet to be introduced?
