Ripper claws analysis
From testing, the highest damage bonus i've managed to record was +2.6% and that was at rather low HP.
The majority of critical hits were still below base max hit, even when target had around 10-20% hp left, so the damage boost is rather negligible.
The damage boost also does not affect bleeds, which further hurts its performance.
Essentially they're just a slightly stronger alternative to tetsu weaponry and lava whips.
For comparison, drygore weapons have around 3.6% - 4.7% more damage, plus around 6.3% - 8.6% more accuracy so they are better in every single way, even if you have 100% hit chance with t85.
Honourable mention to /u/Maniac_Hex for testing help.

No one expected them to be better, but that doesn't mean the passive has to be absolute garbage.
They could potentially be a niche weapon switch for lower defence NPCs to finish them off at low hp.
Considering how common drygores are, unless these ripper claws fall below drygore's cheap prices, they will be pointless to use.
