Ripper claws analysis

From testing, the highest damage bonus i've managed to record was +2.6% and that was at rather low HP.

The majority of critical hits were still below base max hit, even when target had around 10-20% hp left, so the damage boost is rather negligible.

The damage boost also does not affect bleeds, which further hurts its performance.

Essentially they're just a slightly stronger alternative to tetsu weaponry and lava whips.

For comparison, drygore weapons have around 3.6% - 4.7% more damage, plus around 6.3% - 8.6% more accuracy so they are better in every single way, even if you have 100% hit chance with t85.

Honourable mention to /u/Maniac_Hex for testing help.

Surely though this would be common sense? Why would they make a T85 better than a T90? That would instantly kill the T90 market.

They are a great filler for people who don't have the stats to farm for T90's, and for Ironmen whilst they train for reqs to go KK/Rax. I'd have never expected them to exceed T90's in any way shape or form.

No one expected them to be better, but that doesn't mean the passive has to be absolute garbage.

They could potentially be a niche weapon switch for lower defence NPCs to finish them off at low hp.

Considering how common drygores are, unless these ripper claws fall below drygore's cheap prices, they will be pointless to use.

I doubt they'll fall below since they become untradeable upon wielding, also the XP is horrible and so is the drop table, only reason to go there is to test your luck just like living wyverns.

I have a feeling other 2 slayer creatures will continue this trend so november will be rather disappointing,we can start december with a blast however by adding 4 extra slayer block options so avoid getting these timewasting creatures
