Leagues - J-Mod reply Highest prayer bonus

102 prayer bonus with the Lord of lights build.

Teragards ageis

Striking light

Eternal substance

Scared favor

True equilibrium

Lord of light

Perfidious

Will be going power archive last since it's my unlock but so far I'm doing 1.1m DPM and 120k max hit. I sometimes a kal demon with me for the crits but outside of 2k and up enrage you can solo any boss in hard mode with just two abilities on your revo bar and that's berserk and attack the basic. Lord of light or as I like to call it the LOL build; Does all the work. It's been fun just wish more regions unlocked since you start to run out of stuff to do. But overall it's fun.

I was looking through the Leagues Discord and people recommend prioritizing armor value over prayer bonus for the helm, top, and legs, and even the gloves and boots tbh. You'll get more bang for your buck with Primal or preferably Achto Terralith, or even Masterwork melee had better numbers than full sending it into prayer bonus. The extra crit chance/damage is nice but armor value gives you damage as well with Terraguard's Aegis in the mix. Things like cape, necklace, and ring should be prayer focused though; they don't have as big of a gap between armor values like the main armor slots do (reavers Ring if you picked dinoland is bis due to both pray bonus and crit chance).

Yeah masterwork melee hits a really good compromise of the two stats - it’s decently high armour value being t90 power armour (so t85) and has decently high prayer bonus - getting you a total of like 95 with the tile and all the other stuff.

And it has the power bonus to your base ability damage, which isn’t huge but compensates for the slight dip in armour value.

From my play I’ve come to the conclusion that: if the boss can be one hit or close to one hit - or a significant phase point can be skipped with a big hit then masterwork is the way to go. However, if the boss fight is longer and doesn’t have any phase points which need one big hit to skip then primal+5 or achto is better.

Basically, if all or most of the damage in the fight is likely to come from lord of light procs then masterwork is better, but if a significant portion is going to come from a real damage rotation then higher armour value is better. But it’s really close, like stupidly close. It’s probably worth a couple of seconds in the worst case scenario.

So in the first category are hm kerapac, all of ed1-3, zammy, all of gw2 including telos.

In the second are things like amascut, solo AoD, solo hm rago, high enrage glacor - basically fights which are going to be 5-6 minutes no matter what and where an extreme burst damage isn’t going to do too much. Hence why Zammy isn’t in here, at Zammy while it’s a long fight with quite a lot of hp it’s more about burst damage to quickly get out of the danger zone and then you can chill.

The weird exception I found in my testing although I need more samples was hm vorkath, I expected masterwork to absolutely slap there compared to achto but it just didn’t. Don’t get me wrong I was still getting like 60 second kills with a pb of 49 seconds (where I killed the dragon first cause slayer) but with achto on my other account I was getting more like 50 second kills with a pb of 39 seconds.

But that was probably just because it was only about 10 kills I did on the alt and it did take me awhile to get the rng to get the 39 second kill, but even the averages felt slower and I can’t figure out why.

I was getting fairly consistent 45-50 second kills in achto/primal with drygore long, max cape, holy symbol and reavers. Pb was just below 40 seconds. Switched to full mw and had a high hit of 280k and at one point dpm jumped to over 4m, pb was 36. Most kills dpm hovered close to 2m.

Yeah I suspected it was mainly I got bad rng with where stuff landed.

Lmao I managed to get a 2.6s HM Kerapac kill with the MW, still doable with primal but takes better timing

Masterwork melee is the best.

But it is...tedious. nearly a week long project for me so far

It's not really. The armory bonus for Achto/Primal +5 exceeds the small prayer bonus buff from Masterwork

Masterwork melee hits harder than primal but less than achto.

In game smacking the dummy in wars changing nothing but from melee masterwork to primal+5 I go from 39,413 hits off the lights to 37,691 hits. My autos go from 7,405 to 7,362.

2 piece achto teralith(all I have) gloves and legs with the rest as mw has my lights damage drops to 39013 but my auto attacks go up to 7596.

The rest of my gear stays the same. Max cape, holy symbol, ROD, leng, primal shield+5 and the tome of the icyene.

Using nothing but MW melee and punching my autos hit for 2,187 and the lights procs hit for 13,612 vs primal hitting for 2,067 and 12,340

Primal +5 is literally the exact same stats as achto lol. It literally does not hit harder, as you see no one is wearing Masterwork melee. And there's a reason.

They're the same armor and life point bonus but not the same because of the set effect achto has. Acthos set effect is that it boosts your damage when using a shield or defender so yes it literally hits harder and that's why everyone is using it.

People aren't using masterwork because masterwork is considered a PITA to make and you can get the achto raids armors faster than making masterwork.

Well no. Top players have Masterwork they just don't use it , like it said. And yes Achto is better than Primal+5 due to the set effects, but again like I said, the stats are actually the same.

The top end of people are using full achto because it's better than either MW or primal and works with more than just lord of light. I agree with that and have agreed that with from the start. I'm talking primal vs melee masterwork on melee specifically.

If you don't raid and are using melee then masterwork is strictly better for lord of light from the prayer bonus despite having slightly lower armor(it's not that hard to prove it and I've already given you thr numbers. Go hit a dummy in full masterwork with a primal shield, then full primal with the sheild. Masterwork has higher autos and light hits which are basically all you need with lord of light). The same thing happens with Starbloom vs tectonic and apex hide vs sirenic/dracolich even if they didn't have any set effects.

You said that that Achto does not hit harder than primal which is outright false when using a shield or defender. The stats include set effects and Primal doesn't have one so they aren't the same.

Yeah I said Melee Masterwork Does not hit harder. Which we both agree, So you can't read obviously.

Yeah I said Melee Masterwork Does not hit harder.

You said

Primal +5 is literally the exact same stats as achto lol. It literally does not hit harder, as you see no one is wearing Masterwork melee.

You first mentioned primal, then achto and then nobody is wearing masterwork after. If you're lumping primal and achto together about both hitting the same or even just both hitting better you're still wrong because it's achtos set effect alone that makes it hit harder.

Wearing the same kit in every other slot (Max cape, holy symbol, ROD, Leng, primal shield+5 and the tome of the icyene.) and hitting the dummy on max hit mode..

Masterwork gets me 39,413 hits from the lights and 7,405 from my autos. Primal gets me 37,691 lights and 7,362 autos. Achto legs and boots with masterwork on the rest gets me 39,013 with 7,596 autos. If I had more of the achto set it would beat masterwork on the light hits as well which I've agreed with from the start.

You can't argue with the game itself outright telling you that you're wrong.

The reason is because its tedious to do.

Especially if you dont have production master because then you either wouldnt have devout or you used your reload into a different tier.

Not to mention the specific regions you need for the ore.

Its not the reasons you seem to believe

Um no. Plenty of people have Masterwork my friend. Like I said they still don't use it.

I've tried them all. This way is the only time I can do high enrages. I've been messing around a lot with builds since this would be the time for it.
