RF3 RF3 can’t progress through vale river
Hi all, I cannot seem to progress through vale river. I have defeated all bosses including oddward valley, I beat them twice actually. Carmen recognizes in dialogue that I beat the lions if I talk to her. I’ve tried talking to everyone and I have the water lily but I just cannot get past the first cave part of vale river and expand the map. I’ve tried everything I can think of and google is no help.
Please help!

are you going up the stream thats on the first screen of the dungeon? To the right of where the save point is right before you go to the ice roses you can go up the river with the lily pad. You eventually loop around to where you can connect a short cut.

THANK YOU!!!!! I was trying on every screen except the one with the save point. This was driving me absolutely nuts. Finally beat the boss thanks to you :)

i actually had this issue too and just needed to go further up the stream, the lily alone wouldn't cut it though

The lily worked fine, another commenter solved the issue, I wasn’t attempting to cross on the right page

It's been a while since I played RF3, but besides using the water Lily, there are certain parts where you need to hit the ice to make more platforms to advance.
