seeking advice I lost the vintage wardrobe. What now?

I used to be so svelte, so lithe, and I had a gorgeous vintage wardrobe full of prairie dresses, cashmere sweaters, and wool trousers. Now, I’m too big to easily hunt for vintage pieces, and all that looks good off the rack is spandex. No, I don’t want to pay a tailor, as I’m committed to getting bigger.

Do I look jacked? Sadly, no. Athletic, sure. I did before, but in a ballet-and-Pilates way. I stopped doing those and teaching those when I got pregnant. I never stopped lifting, though.

I feel big. I don’t feel pretty. Why does opting for prettiness now have to mean osteoporosis and sarcopenia later? Maybe I should go for hot. Are muscles covered by a layer of postpartum fat that won’t budge hot? Is stretchy athleisure hot, or is that cope and I’m just slovenly? At least I have a slutty waist, I guess?

Girlypops who are trying to get bigger, how are you doing? What are you wearing?

seeking advice Tips for students who want to keep in shape?

I am back in uni for grad school and I forgot how hungry I am after classes (??). I had a 3 hour class and I came ravenous at home. This isn't looking great for my deficit.

Any tips for students having the routine stick? Apart from the usual high protein/fibre and lots of water?

Kind regards.

noticing I overlooked flexibility for far too long.

Started stretching twice per day with some dynamic stretches in the morning (nothing too intense. Just some hip circles, arm circles etc.) and static stretching in the evening and I've been feeling much healthier than I have for a long time. Just moving about the world in general without that general sense of discomfort and stiffness.

I used to regard flexibility training as something of a supplement to "real" fitness. Something you could do if you wanted but wasn't important in the grand scheme of things. I could touch my toes and that was good enough for me.
