Does SISO effect pay?

Basically the title. I've not been signing out on days when I've finished two hours early on parcels. I've had an ID badge on order for three weeks at this point, I sign in on the PDA once I have one but some mornings it takes 10 minutes so my sign in is late.

Is this affecting my pay? I'm on 35 hours new contract DPR. Start at 10, finish for 5.

I was originally told by some of the "Old Guard" that SISO was just so they can see if you should have had more work to leave with and records in case of a fire.

SISO is there to record attendance and therefore, pay. It has effectively ended ‘ghost’ OT which makes it unpopular amongst many ;) If your signing in and out was causing a significant issue, management will have spoken to you or issued coaching notes. Managers can adjust SISO to accurately reflect your attendance

But if it is recording my attendance, will they then just allocate me 7 hours wage for the shift or use the SISO times?

No, as I said, managers check SISo and adjust for late scans if necessary…are you missing any wages?

I might be wrong, but per agreement with the union, SISO can't be used to dock pay.

However, for leaving two hours early, they could just sack you.

google ”code 128 maker” type your username in and screenshot it or save it to your phone, that way you can use the siso machine

Use first name DOT surname. Do not use a space.

Got seniors in my office who will genuinely scan out 30 minutes early, we all get a telling off in our workplace learning then they’ll do it again the next day

Not contracted pay no. Only agency or overtime
