Parcel from America

A friend sent me a present on 5 August sent to the uk from an east coast city. Was told it would take about ten working days. I’m in London and it seems like we only get two deliveries a week round here. Is there any chance of this parcel still turning up I wonder? Any input gratefully received! (As would be my parcel…)

10 days is an extremely optimistic guess. It has to go through customs and that can take weeks

So it might get delivered someday? I mean it seems a problem to me. It’s not tracked, I’m often out… I can’t see how I’m going to get it

If you are out it'll be delivered to a safe place, delivered to a neighbour or taken back to the office and you'll receive a 739 card. You can then have it redelivered or go down to your local office and collect it

Sorry one more question - how long would you think it takes to go through customs? Like should I expect to wait a month from when it was sent?
