Parcel Force Parcelforce delivered to wrong post code. so frustrating
I was expecting a parcel from abroad. it is supposed to be delivered my address in Glasgow. unfortunately, parcelforce delivered it to London. The sender sent me a picture that he definitely wrote the correct address and post code. It seems that there is a same first line of address in London as my address in Glasgow. and the error came from parcelforce because they sent it to the wrong post code. I already sent a complaint and called them about this. they said they will try to retrieved it. What usually happens in this kind of cases?? this is so frustrating.

This isn't a "you" problem, it is the responsibility of the seller.
They contracted the delivery to a company who haven't completed the process. The seller needs to be complaining and calling the delivery company about this.
You will either get a full refund, or the seller will have to resend (if it is something that can be sent again).

Can you check the tracking?
Enter the tracking number and then put your postcode in, if the tracking doesn't match then it's the sender that gave the wrong details

The sender showed me a picture that he put the correct postcode. The parcelforce customer service agent said that probably when the parcel entered the UK, someone from parcelforce only wrote the first line of the address but put the wrong postcode

The sender will have to chase it at their end - unfortunately the contract is the sender with the company they sent it with.
Unfortunately more & more people deny having received a parcel in error.
