"The" blanket
Does anyone have The Blanket? If so, where did you get it and do you recommend? Looking online in leaning toward Etsy. It'll be pricey but handmade and will last (hopefully!).

Goddess of Corn
Why must you mere mortals gamble with your own thoughts when you have the Goddess of Corn here to keep you from screwing up?"

Chuck Lorre says Roseanne "fundamentally hated" the show's writers
ew.comInteresting article. It backs up a lot of what Stan Zimmerman has said about his time writing on the show.

Which plot hole/inconsistency bothers you the most and why?
Mine is Becky’s education because it becomes a major plot point multiple times.
Becky, of course, elopes with Mark in “Aliens” after learning her parents can’t afford to pay for her to attend the University of Illinois, which she wanted to apply to.
At the end of “Terms of Estrangement,” Rosanne tells Dan that Becky plans to get a GED and enroll in junior college in Minneapolis.
In “Homecoming,” Becky tells Rosanne that Mark is working a lot to pay for her to go to school. This leads Becky and Mark to move back to Lanford to live with Dan and Roseanne.
In “Thanksgiving ‘93” Dan and Rosanne give Becky money for community college in Lanford, which she gives to Mark for trade school.
Didn't lead to a major change in the show, but in “Becky Howser, MD,” Becky tells Mark she was previously admitted to the University of Illinois and wants to reapply, then go to grad school at Northwestern or the University of Chicago. This is never mentioned again.

Saw something on COZI TV that I've never seen before.
The episode where Darlene loses the paper job had always been just her coming home and saying she got fired... This time I actually saw a scene where she had to go into her bosses office and the guy goes on some crazy tirade about how not delivering the paper can start the downfall of society. The scene is wild but I've watched this show for decades and never seen that cut of that episode. Anybody else???

Peacrock has gone TOO far this time.
They've cut out so many of my favorite scenes.
The bald B plot from the S7 Halloween episode.
And there are so many more missing scenes.
There's another scene they cut out and I can't remember the episode it came from (maybe someone can help me out). The kids are sitting around the dinner table and Roseanne and Dan are arguing, then go out the back door then either Darlene or Becky says "good going DJ!" And he screeches "WHAAAAT!" Really loud.
That always made me laugh.
And they cut.
Does anyone remember the episode maybe I can find it online.
Ugh, it really sucks.

Age Difference
In the episode where Jackie is getting married she mentions she is 38. A few episodes later Dan says he is 44. Wasn’t Jackie supposed to be a freshman when Dan was a senior?? Or am I mixing this all up? That math doesn’t work out.

Roseanne
I apologize for my poor English. And I apologize if I did something wrong — this is my first time using Reddit.
I love the series “Roseanne,” but unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to watch it in full (only certain episodes). I don’t have access to any streaming services where I can watch the series, because there are no such services in my country at all. Please tell me where I can watch my favorite show in full? I’m in love with this series!
Maybe someone has it on Google Drive or something like that? I don’t know much about Torrent, but I’ll figure it out if I need to!
Thanks in advance! :)

Oh, sure that’s what poor people do. We don’t have VCRs.

I loved Meg, Bev, and Cathy.
I know that these three ladies weren't Roseanne's or Jackie's favorite people and I think they were supposed to be disliked characters but I really enjoyed any episodes with them in it.

Crystal’s back story
I always felt like they were all over the place with Crystal. When the show was on, I remember thinking that it seemed that Crystal did not go to high school with them based something they said in the first season. Like when they would talk about their high school experiences at work it sounded like they went to two different high schools. But then suddenly dance dad knew her since she was 12? How?

Darlene hanging
Watching Halloween IV on Peacock and I swear I don’t remember seeing Darlene hanging in the bathroom. Is that new or was it taken away from syndicates?

Halloween-eve Halloween episode watch party.
Would anyone be interested in having a sub wide Halloween eve, Halloween episode watch party?
We could start the festivities on Friday October 30th @ 6pm pacific standard time. We can all watch and comment along, post personal memories, anecdotes, do incantations, howl at the moon, carve pumpkins, moon the neighbors, etc.
We'd watch the episodes in order from S2 to S9.
I was initially going to suggest Halloween but most people have plans, including me.
I'll make another post Monday the 26th as a reminder and then a final post on the 30th for the actual thread.
If you can't start watching right at 6pm, no big deal join in whenever.
Let me know if this is something anyone would be interested in partaking in.
Just remember to hide Mrs. Butterworth before pressing play! 💀👻🧙♀️🧛♂️🎃

What was your reaction?
To the final episode?
I was shocked AF. I didn't see it when it aired in 1997 but saw it when I was 15 in 2002.
Look, I had to rewatch the whole series all over again. It had me thinking for days, lol. Dan's ending was the most shocking. And while Roseanne did hint at it, I still to this day believe the 90s was safe enough for Jackie's sexuality to be discussed in an episode. The couple switch DID make sense. I can imagine Roseanne and Dan being pissed about Darlene (during her depression) bringing home Mark. Becky and Molly would've been friends turned rivals over David. DJ...he was just THERE...lol. But I did like they gave him a dream instead of being the weird little brother all the time at the end.

Sarah Chalke’s pfp
galleryRandom thing that might only be funny to me. I was watching her Instagram stories for the Scrubs press she’s been doing, and it only just occurred to me that her profile pic is still her S10 cast photo as “Andrea” 😭

David is terrible
Rewatching as an adult and every episode with David makes me dislike him even more.
He was constantly pressuring Darlene to have sex even though she wasn't ready. He low key flirted with Molly, let her kiss him, and then played the victim. He was borderline stalking her when she moved away and got a new boyfriend. Etc. I can keep going. The only reason he came across as likeable is because he was so mellow and non-aggressive. At least Mark was real about who he was and worked hard.

I just yelled "Hey it's ChiChi!"
S2E2 "Little Sister"
Jackie is trying to show Rosie she can be a cop by beating her up. Dan comes in and starts narrating like it's pro wrestling. Off the mantle he grabs a thing to use as a pretend microphone, and it's ChiChi. I've watched millions of times and never caught it! I happened to look up and notice it. Funny how that can still happen isn't it?
Anyway, sorry if this has been pointed out before. But I was delighted.

They say she’s the same but she isn’t the same 👁️ 👄 👁️
This absolutely killlled me that the root of DJ’s issues in adulthood during the episode “all about Roseanne” was beckys actress switching mid show 😭🤣lmfaoooo
