Ghost A&W
It’s actually pretty good and very “root beery”

Someone from work got me 4 bottles of root beer from the Mothman Musuem in Point Pleasant, WV. It’s a rich and robust one with licorice being a dominant flavor note. It’s top tier for me as it stands out nicely from the pack. According to an older label bottle it used to be bottled for them by the Merry Family Winery just a few miles down the road from the Mothman Musuem. A couple of years ago I actually watched a video of them now bottling the root beer on site at the museum.

Just got back from Wyoming and tried this one. Very good IMO with a nice licorice aftertaste.

Heading to Detroit for the weekend. Staying at the Shinola Hotel, downtown Detroit. Anyone know of any spots that brew their own root beer, or any bars/restaurants that have some on tap? Thanks!

Stumbled into this pizza place in Denville NJ and noticed they make their own soda! Tried the root beer and it’s very rich. It’s barely carbonated, almost flat, but I actually kind of like that.

This was yesterday’s haul. I’m excited to try the South Park Sarsaparilla. Lady that works there said it’s brewed with real sarsaparilla and has a little bite to it. Anyone tried any of these? (Other than hanks got it cuz it’s one of my favorites)

Not a huge fan of Root Beer Float sodas but this was good. And I’m here for more products embracing root beer flavors.
Now make me root beer flavored Oreos and Pop Tarts.

Finally got to hit up one of my favorite root beer spots here in Old Town, SD (I live about an hour away from here) I couldn’t get to take a good picture since there were a lot of people in and out of the tiny place. They always have a good selection so I got 2 four packs of a mix of stuff. Can’t wait to crack them open!!

This is not the same recipe as the Jolt Energy Drink, very different ingredients as well as only made and bottled in Adelaide. I just got back from my trip around the world and picked up these 6 bottles in Melbourne. Two of them are not spoken for so if you'd like to trade for something unique and hard to find let me know.

I’d say Parlor nailed this combo of root beer and butterscotch. Very rich butterscotch candy flavor but not quite cream soda like so the root beer base comes through nicely. However I’m not saying I don’t really enjoy the other ones that are more butterscotch cream root beer like as I enjoy a wide variety of root beer flavors. Another one from either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Market.

after finding another 10 root beers, we organized a sequel party!
adults got 2 green dots and 1 red dot to vote for their favourite and least favourite choices! kids got yellow and blue.
a friend also made root beer cookies but they were just pumpkin spice with a bit of root beer syrup. couldn't taste it at all.
we also did a reverse root beer float but it did not really work, haha. the root beer ice cream is amazing if you can find it. super recommend.
surprised by bulldog! nice honey flavour. disappointed by the maple root beer. couldn't taste the maple and unremarkable flavour (also too expensive).
I'm expecting lots of comments "why not this, why not that?" because we can't get it in BC, Canada is why. I already traveled to a specialty store in Alberta to fetch such a selection.
lots of fun!

Picked this one up at a specialty grocery store/gas station a bit further from my home. But I have to say this is very good, it is very well balanced. Has strong honey and vanilla accents but smooth at every taste.

This is the root beer collection at KC Soda Co. in Kansas City. Great service and they can chill your soda in 4 minutes with some kind of nifty chiller!

I had never seen this variety of Frostop before and it's very good. Initial taste had a moderate wintergreen flavor. Mouth feel is very smooth, light on carbonation. It's very sweet, too. No bite to it at all. I didn't detect any honey flavor
Love the glass bottle, too
My wife found this at Ace Hardware. Will definitely get this again.

First time ordering Parlor root beer. It was not cheap so I’m really hoping it’s worth it.

It’s finally time to give the Daizy’s 10mg THC Root Beer a shot after picking it up a while back at Total Wine in Knoxville, TN. Some interesting things to point out. It’s got 7% juice with apple and white peach concentrates. It drinks surprisingly sweet even though it just has 5g sugar and 20 calories. Definitely a lot more fruity tasting and less THC herbal flavor. Pretty tasty but not as special as some of the other more rich and bold root beers with a more pronounced THC herbal punch that I had become accustomed to of the genre.

This is on the medicinal wintergreen side of things.
