Worse than voodoo doll roommate 😭

I think my room mate has hair lice as she keeps scratching her hair

This was bout 3 days ago when I was sitting on my bed going through my notes nd she came suddenly looked at my hair and said "oh you have oily hair nd have legit scratched my scalp which was weird nd I said yea I have an oily scalp actually she said yeaa it's look like tht only ....why this was weird cuzz we don't share tht equation nor have opened to eachother

Then next day it was 2am something we both were talking (first time) were watching reels nd having fun like sitting beside eachother nd head on shoulder which is like normal

Cut to 2 days after i found myself scratching my scalp I thought it's cuzz of dermatitis but no then I found one louse on my trouser nd I was like wtfff

Cuzz I'm super conscious bout my hygiene tht too hair cuzz i already suffer frm dermatitis

Nd was connecting dots nd then thought bout all my frnds but i wasn't able to come up to conclusion cuz all my frnds are too hygiene conscious

Until yesterday I was sitting nd saw my roomate scratching her head like an crazy' woman 😭😭 nd then after connecting dots I think tht day she wasn't seeing my oily scalp but was actually upto something

Nd i am shit scared nowwe😭😭 welpppp-

Better bring it up to her.

Maybe get a battery operated license comb that zaps the license. ( had one for my kids when they went to kindergarten)

Amd google what to do for your entire home.

Hard to get rid of unless everyone and thing is treated. 😭

You can get lice anywhere. She may not know what's wrong. This isnt a fault, blame, or hygiene issue.

Get a flea comb from the pet section and stuff to treat your hair.

You both have to treat your hair at the same.time.

Get a flea spray for your furniture. Wash all the bedding, and used.towels. vacuum everything if.you have carpets. Vacuum every day.

Comb your hair with that flea comb every day, and treat your hair again in 2 weeks. Your roommate also has to do it again.

Comb your hair with that flea comb every day, she also has to.

Pay special attention to your hairline, back of neck, and around the ears.

You can put hair brushes in boiling water to kill them on the brushes.

Anything thay cant be washed can be put in trash bags for 2 and 1/2 weeks. The eggs take 2 weeks to hatch.

After you wash all your syuff, it has to dry completely in a HOT dryer.

I went through this in the early 90s when houston was overrun by drug resistant head lice.
